Honestly think he will leave this year to play super league. Be fair to him he turned it down last year and is defo good enough.he can change a game with a click of a finger. He will be missed but would defo be welcomed back if things went wrong.

Well it's all in Sams hands to decide, he's been advised the Cas move makes no sense if loaned straight to Leigh but its still a SL contract and he can put himself on Millwards radar that way?? Personally think its a waste if he does that but honestly don't know.

Would love to see Sam stay - on his day he is the best forward in The Championship.

I think he has come on leaps and bounds this year under Rhino's tutelage, and in another 12 months, if he knuckles down then it will be Saints, Wigan, Leeds or Warrington coming knocking - not the small,lower end clubs that have no chance of winning owt.

That's a bit naughty Chris, one shouldn't divulge one's source of info. I wouldn't blame "his sponsor" if he fed you a load of old rubbish in future and I don't mean in one of his pint glasses.

As much as I like Sam as a lad and admire his playing talents I think it's gone on too long now and needs a line drawing underneath it once & for all. If he wants to go ( which he doesn't, but I wouldn't blame anyone for taking a measured career move ) then let Halifax RLFC get on with sealing this season on the field and plan for next season off it. Both Sam & his fantastic sponsor know my feelings on this matter & I appreciate the work both are/have done for our club, we have a potential six or seven games to win this season, six preferably but Fev won again last night and there only remains three games for them to lose one for us to nick top spot.

Maybe he (and the club) are hanging around waiting for the RFL to decide what to do with the "Bullmania" issue. When they've decided what to do with Super League's worst run club, Sam and Fax may find themselves in SL. Who knows what could happen with this saga. There's more twists and turns than a twisty turny thing.

By the sounds of it the move would actually be less money but like has been mentioned it would be a shot at SL.

Colin, not naughty at all as I wasn't told in confidence or I wouldn't have said anything at all. We were talking very openly and several of us were included last Sunday morning whilst waiting for brekkie and our NRC coach trip to start!!
