Have met Richard Lewis a few times and actually is a decent bloke. He has done alot of good for the game in many areas and brought millions in via Sport England and other areas. The past 4 or 5 years he has just been a figurehead/ambassador. Sadly Nigel Wood and that other waste of space Ralph Rimmer are clueless and made a right mess of things like Crusaders and the SL licence and the different points systems in place. Lewis is highly regarded and why he is chairman of sport england and works for the soccer premierzhip. Sadly his reputation has been damaged by the incompetence of big Nige and his clueless friend Rimmer. The game needs to get rid of these two idiots more than it needed to see Lewis go.

Liabilities high, Assets now including Liabilities and tenants who cant pay the rent, not to mention a game now in effect sponsoring Stobarts instead of vice versa, i'd say his work is done..
The so and so will now probably get lucky and if Murray wins a Grand Slam claim it was down to his governance.
Fear not, Rimmer and Wood can continue his work disjointed from any sense of reality, common sense or professional ability and give themselves a nice payrise.

I loath that man with a passion, when he read out the 14 super league clubs on live TV i thought coco the clown was going to jump out at any min. The man is a hypocrite when i applied for my amateur club a sport england grant one of the questions was " does your club exclude any person or persons from joining" it was a yes no question it then said if the answer is yes then this grant is not for you. yet in his other role at the RFL they exclude more than half there member clubs from joining the top division

You must not ask where Richard got his conservatory.
