Not enough players to go round, why doesn't somebody come up with an idea to strengthen the game and bring through more young English talent?
Can't actually think of anything off the top of my head though.

No one kicks up that much of a fuss over who the other home nations pick in their teams. If he puts on the England and gives it 100% i will cheer him just like i will the rest. Besides hes tons better than owt we have.

Every player in Australia are better than what we've got so perhaps we aught to see who doesn't get picked for their national team and see if they have any English ancestors and not bother with any real English players, its a disgrace... |

Why dont the RFL just tell SL clubs to bring over the best young Australian and New Zealanders on 4 year deals and off them an extra cash bonus when picked for England after 3 years? So much for promoting British Youngsters and pushing them through to SL-why bother when you can bring a second rate kiwi like Chase who knows he wont get picked ahead of Marshall, Foran and Johnson and get him to play for England after his 3 years are up.

He also picked up best Overseas Player and Best English Player. 
At the award ceremony he also said that he'd been wanting to play for England for five years now. What a load of crap! Sugar coat it how you like - this is a dark day for English RL. We're crap - and we know we are. |
