Why cant you say yet what the reason is that we didnt get in? What is the mystery? If they gave a reason for us not getting then they arnt going to change it and i cant see the problems with posting it on here.

Just out of interest in the interview with RR he mentions that the RFL came to Halifax a couple of times and highlighted a couple of areas we needed to improve on recently, any chance of saying what those areas were? I also cant see why these cant be posted as the fans deserve to know.

I really hope this isnt just brushed under the table and the club sticks to their guns in the way Michael Steele has started today. If they dont then 3 years and peoples hard work has been for nothing and anyway what has the club got to lose? Its not like we have another chance of getting in especially with the average crowds lowering now Widnes arnt in and Crusaders probably will be.

Great post and much appreciated. I'd also like to take back my post from earlier, I was just in an extremely angry place. I will struggle to get to a lot of games next year, but I will try and make it to as many as possible.

You have my fullest support. In my eyes, you have done everything asked of you to enter Super League. It must be frustrating that your bid has not been successful.
However, I do hope that you are not bracketing my club (Castleford) as one of those who have broken promises. As a club we never, ever promised that we would be playing in a new stadium by 2012. What we did promise was "significant development" towards a new stadium (which was the RFL stipulation by 2011), which has being achieved with both outline and detailed planning permission being given for a stadium at Glasshoughton. Our obstacle now is to sell our current ground, which requires planning permission so a retail development can be built. We will need to overcome this obstacle and be playing at Glasshoughton by the next franchise application.

I will be cotinuing my obsessive support of Fax and doing my best to contribute to Del Boy Powell's corner shop, but from now on, I will not contribute to any other matches the RFL are involved in until the gruesome twosome are no longer involved in the farce they have created.

Its not that we didn't get a license, its that the process is fundamentally flawed, and to be honest, insulting.
Personally i think this has now gone beyond Halifax RLFC, this is a problem for RL's integrity and dignity.

I would like to know who the RFL are answerable to and accountable to, they are completely out of control and an embarassment to sport.

Anyone who wishes to pursue a meaningful, peaceful, intelligent and legal protest to this debacle has my full backing and support. For the good of our sport i'm afraid its down to fans now.

I and many others are surprised that you didn't get a Super League licence for next season, but have no fears. There is no chance what so ever of Wakey having having a ground within 3 years. Remember that Wakey have been promising the RFL since 1999 that they willl have a new ground still we wait.

The morons at the RFL have some serious explaining to do. It's not that long ago that Widnes were kept out of SL because they went into admin. Why have Wakey been allowed to stay in, especially given their track record on the stadium front? I feel sorry for Wakey's fans, they've done nothing wrong, but clearly Fax should have been given a go in SL.

The whole thing is a farce. It's time a club challenged this decision making process in the courts and showed these total muppets up for what they are.

You will trust me. If wakey and Cas are not in new stadiums in 2013 their out your in. Don't lose the faith.

I myself have sent a short e-mail to Jason Mccartney MP who is on the All party committee for rugby league.He was another guest at a meeting I went to last year where he shared the forum with Rimmer and Robbie Paul both of whom were extoling the vitues of franchising he was not best pleased with them I can tell you.There are several of these MPs on that committee and I intend to contact them all as well as our local ones. I will not be knocking any other Club I will merely pointing out their undemocratic way of carrying on and be asking them if they can do anything about it.
I have this dream that they call Laurel and Hardy down to the House of Westminster to answer questions about this secret charade and especialy about the wasteing of the RFL money on Crusaders( which could be open to abuse if not transparent) and halfway through I run on with a foam pie.
