I wondered what happened there. Looked away and when I looked back there were two Leigh players flat out and Aizue standing over them, it did seem impressive at the time.

Without Penky on the pitch you looked dire. With Penky you were twice as quick in attack. Leigh's pack was on top all the way through despite missing a few props.

All in all Leigh were nowhere near as clinical and disciplined as we have been in other games this season but still looked in no real danger of losing the match. Fax played decent stuff at times but still seem incapable of stringing together 80 minutes of decent rugby.

Had a great day and enjoyed chatting to a few of the fax fans stood nearby. Still convinced you will make the playoffs this season.

My honest opinion is that I think we only played for 15 mins of that game full stop. This was at the end of each half when Leigh were tiring and concentration had switched off as i also feel the scoreline flatters us immensely. Leigh looked like scoring every time they hit our 20 and played a neat compact game completing their sets etc. We looked lacklustre in defence and blew good try scoring opportunities by playing dumb rugby. We were in my opinion pretty awful today and in the 1st 20 mins lacking any go forward from the pack. I think it's going to be a long long season and worry fans will switch off and be turned away. I hope not but I am concerned at our inability to compete right now.

Aizue did catch Duffy, but it did look in
part accidental. He got twisted in the tackle when Duffy was coming in.

I saw Duffy stagger off and then bury his head for ten minutes. I applaud these tough RL players. Bloody fantastic gladiators - the lot of them!! Respect.

I would put my house on fev beating leigh over the easter weekend. Yes we are poor at the moment but how leigh are the top of the league is beyond me.

Ands thats whynon of the leigh players ran in protesting, becasue he got twisted in the tackle.

On dif note, i thought Paul White was the weekest link today, twice in to touch, how many times did they score in his corner, The sooner nash and Goddard are back the better

Also, we looked far better with Penky on the pitch, is it time to play him for 90 mins!

It's because we've played good rugby so far this season. It's not a fluke that we've beaten Fev, Fax, Barrow and Widnes in the league this season. We've also done Batley, shef and Widnes again in the NRC.

I think the scoreline flattered you today. You scored 2 late tries by throwing the ball about when you had nothing to lose. Nothing wrong with that - we did the same against Barrow away last season. The fact is that fax weren't good enough today and looked cack when Penky was off the field.

Leigh were strong in defence and bombed chances in attack.

FWIW, I think we'll lose against Fev on Easter Monday too. But I'd rather be where we are right now, with the teams we've played, than where Fax are
