Scaremongering ???. It has Come from the PLayers lips - FACT. Hardly scaremongering, If you get scared by something like this then i fear for you with lifes little hurdles. I am merely pointing something out.

I was at the game today against Batley, I go to every home and away game, also went to the blackpool 9's comp, some of the rumours of player departures at the end of the season really concerns me, if the rumours are true then we will have start next season will 3 or 4 players !!

As I have said above there is a MASSIVE difference between word of mouth and writing something on a public forum. A lot can be lost in the translation between the spoken word and written text. Sarcasm for example. Players don't deserve things they may have said in confidence posted on a public forum.

I appreciate this and it stays as confidence, the players name will not be disclosed.

i think the term knowledge is power springs to mind. i agree, there was no need to post this on the forum. maybe we all no different things about certain players, but most of us keep it to ourselves, until it comes into the public domain. I dread to think what our future signings make of our forum sometimes. it's no wonder some don't want to come to us

Cant see the point of all this to be honest. Are you just looking for controversy to criticise the club or are you a true fan merely trying to create debate? The club needs positives at this time and not talk such as this. Please leave it until the end of the season and we can all get behind the team with unity for now.

C/ & probably the main 'axe to grind' I have.
Way way way too many times more un scruplous players in team sports use blogs/forums to get back at clubs, enhance negoations or pre empt them.
Id make sure yer not a victim of either before announcing stuff on here.......

1st-.This season is not over yet!
2nd-.The club is likely to be a bit short of Cash due to things that have happened- No Pre Season games, Ostick Situation, Early knock out of rail cup.
3rd-.Maybe the people running the club do not want to get the club in to debt just to keep/sign certain players. IF a player wants to play at fax then he will fit in with what fax want. I am happy for the club to keep us out of debt!

Can we leave the rumours on this MB until after the season?

While link telecom going bust is unfortunate, in my opinion prospective cup runs should not be factored into our budget

If a high earner has to leave s be it, in the long term it seems more in our interest to direct funds towards nurturing new talent

If things are that bad how come we payed a fee for Barlow and we gave out free tickets to tick the box for super league when we need to pay the tax on it?

Of course i am a true fan, Season ticket holder for years now, i get dead excited days before each game and as one member said, i was just trying to debate this point. I am not going to say the source of the information as do not want any ill feelings toward him from the club. I was merely stating concern as a fax fan and i am sure i am entitled to express that, even if my timing on this is lets say, somewhat short of the mark.

In retrospect it was more of a reaction to what i heard rather than common sense prevailing.

Well if this player really wanted to stay at fax surely he'd be willing to take a bit of a pay cut??

Also even if it is from the player himself, apparently Ben Black said himself that Misi was signing to fax and that turned out to be false. Let's just wait and see. When I read the 1st post I had an idea who you meant and recently that player seems to be hinting on facebook about going home...please god let it not be him
