Granted the Fax fans were out of order but they were not the only ones I thought the Leigh fan who steped in front of his fans to calm his own fans down should be aplauded this man could do with being thanked in some way .Maybe he could be given a job of training the stewards on how to defuse a situation ?

I was heading up town for a night out so left the ground straight away so sadly saw this insident and what anoyed me was the group of fax fans provoking the Leigh fans by chanting yoy s**t b*****ds at the at them, it was not so long ago that we was strugerling and I remember what it felt like so to chant that at the Loyal Leigh fans was very wrong indeed. Well done to the Leigh fans who came to the game and got behind your team

Well you probably have got it in one when you say you remember when we were strugleing well so do I ,but the lads who were doing the taunting sadly probably don`t .They were probably not around,Michael Steele spoke about this in yesterdays programme ,asking people to remember the Respect campaign as increased gates have met with increased complaints to the club.He says it`s a family game lets keep it that way.
Maybe the fans should be reminded more often about the behaviour that is expeccted of them.And if you have just started being a Fax fan you are more than welcome but not if you don`t treat people with respect we don`t want it.

Was talking to the stewards afterwards and the area immediately beneath the stand isn't covered by the CCTV, it only covers when you leave the cover of the stand.

I thought the stewards did a decent job really. Afterall are they even trained to deal with something like that. It was never going to kick off anyway as there were a few people watching that didnt get involved that would have if it had ignited.
Cant we get some photos of the crowd up on the computer and then we can pick them out.

Much ado about nothing, I think. As Brew mentioned, the main Fax perpertator was carted off pretty sharpish and his mates followed suit, though why the incident carried on for so long after that beats me.

All the 'Fax fans I spoke to before, during and after the game were all spot on and I'll miss our visit to the Shay next season when we're in Champ 1 (though I'll be back there for the FCHT-Leigh Genesis game
