I was on about this in The Shears on thursday.
Wouldn't want him at The Shay, I was told by an ex warrington player who still has connections that Briers runs the dressing room, and is the main problem at Warrington, a story that has been around for a while.
Perhaps years ago when there was talk of a possible swap with Dunneman it may have been a decent Idea, but if it happened now I wouldnt be too pleased. |

Too many stories about him being a trouble causer in the dressing room and too many about his off field antics. Theres's no dount on his day he's an excellent player, but i'd rather not bother.

Woke up in a really happy mood after good win on thurs and knowing only 2 weeks to holiday then read this aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh
don't want him at Fax no way .Didn't want Holroyd back,will give him credit for what he did for us but i still don't like the bloke.Briers comes over as someone who thinks he is better than he is,we don't need a player like that,we have a TEAM who play for the shirt and each other.There is no I in team and that is how we want it to stay

| Id love to see Briers playing the rest of the season with us - could be a great pairing with Black - might be a problem withing the dressing room, but it would be up to Calland to make sure it doesnt happen - i would also think that we have strong enough senior players not to let this happen.
Think he also might fit in well with our drinking culture!!  |
