| Quote: Living The Dream "Can't see seethe Bulls disappearing. Worst case liquidation to wipe off the alleged £2m debt on Friday and then be back up and running on Monday as RFLBulls2016 Ltd . Very tough on creditors of the club and also the fans if this happens.
Whilst they are our rivals I wouldn't wish this on those mentioned. Agree our club would also be affected from a commercial point of view if we lose this derby fixture.
I know it's currently tough for us Fax fans but things like this news for the Bulls puts things a little more in perspective.'"
You might be being flippant in your post but if the Bulls went into liquidation they wouldn't be back that quick. Any assets they have (and I think they have very little, no ground etc) would have to be sold to pay creditors if they are able. The players would leave as their contracts would be null and void. And they would want to play somewhere else as its their livelihood. The whole thing is a mess.
A friend of mine who is a Bulls supporter said last night at training the administrator spoke to the players to explain the situation. after talking to them they walked out and didn't train. Another sticking point on the take over bid is the RFL ownership of the ground although I haven't what the sticking point is, except would you want to do business with the RFL!
Its sad but as stated before on here its all of their owners making, time and time again. the real losers are the all the jobs that are going to be lost and for all the bulls fans who have put their money behind them in the last 5 years for it to be squandered.

| Although the administrator is there to rescue/rehabilitate the Bulls, they also need to ensure that this is done in the best interests of all creditors. An interesting dilemma for a sports club. From the government website on such things... "The administrator should aim to rescue the company as a going concern unless it is not reasonably practicable to do so, or a better result could be obtained for creditors by not doing so.".
I genuinely wish the Bulls well (other than on the field when Fax are playing them), but in any new incarnation they need to be realistic about their position, and forget about any "iconic" status and any associated "privileges". Fax have made mistakes (relying on a top 4 finish last year), but have reacted accordingly (including the DR deal with Salford), but Bradford still seem to be dwelling on their past glory and think they're a big club. Maybe later, but not now.
I went to the first 9's tournament in Blackpool (Fax won the plate final), and although it was hardly a great ground to watch RL, the thing that saddened me most when the club later went bust was that the RFL (as far as the public could see) gave them absolutely zero support.

| It does make you wonder how the RFL were sanctioning the Bulls new signings though as you would imagine if they have a "live cap" they would also have some sort of access to club accounts.

I think these were arranged before things went belly up for the Bulls. However, this highlights significant mismanagement, in that the club must (should?) have known they couldn't meet their future financial commitments and curtailed these new signings. Smacks of being rather amateurish or (worse) totally naive.

Sparky I would replace the word naive with stupid. Cashing cheques that you can't honour is never a good idea. Which brings us back to where we started.

| ...and the RFL probably aren't blameless in all of this and at worst are complicit in the mire that the Bulls find their selves in now.

Stupid would infer a lack of intellect, whereas naive suggests a deficit of business acumen. I think naive is probably more appropriate.
It's only words though, our thoughts align!

| The arrogance of Bradford and a number of its alleged fans knows no limits. The club has continued to make decision that saw it stay a full time club and have a bigger squad than the rest. The warning signs have been ignored for years. Bradford cheated its way to a final and won last year costing another championship club money. Even for 2017, Bradford all still set on being FT. The Bradford club deserves all what it gets for me. A number of fans seem to think that they shouldnt be punished or be in this position and that its the fault of SL clubs and the RFL etc. The fault of why Bradford are in this mess is the result of the poor decisions made by the Bradford club. Why the need for FT? Why the need to have a squad of 35? No need at all but just the arrogance that they think they are bigger that what they are.
I am grateful that we have a BOD that are realistic and that do not make decisions that put our club in the dangerous position of going bankrupt. I dont like us losing players to Batley. I dont like us doing the DR with Salford. I dont like us having to cut wages by 10%. I dont like us making news on the Stadium etc etc. But them unpopular decisions is why we have a club that is not in danger of going bust. For all the faults of our club and BOD, I feel we they never put the club in danger of ending up like Bradford. The Club and BOD make mistakes. But I am glad we have a bOD and Club like we do rather than one that lives in a fantasy world that is willing to risk killing our club off for no reason.

| I think there's a distinction between the Bradford club and it's fans. Sure there's a blinkered minority in any set of supporters, but most Bulls fans I've come across are pretty rationale and realistic. Green bet the house on going back up, and when failed, it's all come crumbling. We're lucky that the BOD we have are prepared to make tough decisions and be realistic - whether that's down to an inherent lack of resource or some pragmatic thinking who knows. Sure they make mistakes but don't we all?
Bradford need a white knight to get them out of this mess, but you just end up with the same ego-centric attention seeker that goes missing when times get tough. Think best option for them is liquidation and restarting with supporters representations. Enough of their support base with stick with them, and most of the rest would return on promotion to championship.

| Talks inconclusive between the only remainer who wants to buy the lease ( having trouble finding a pepper corn) and the RFL who want two.
This is according to Callender news speaking to the Nation who were all out of the room making tea.
One singular dozy bird, (dressed in red obviously) raised this matter in Parliament yesterday addressing her three fellow members of Parliament, with slightly bulbous red noses, regarding the plight of the iconic " Bradford Bulls" speaking to a bank of microphones and a Nation still in the kitchen dunking their hobnobs.
Will some one get it?
No one cares any more.
Slither away.
RFL grow some, they have been taking the urine for long enough.
It's time to take a stance, three pepper corns or bust, that's my final offer.

RFL Saying decision will be made tomorrow but no decision has been made yet so who knows, probably negotiating 6 or 12 point reduction.
