It has to be all ticket! Bulls have more than 10k season ticket holders, and whilst the club could guess that only 5k of them will turn up, they just can't take the risk.

| The original full working capacity of all stands is
North stand: 3500 that is with it being fixed and having correct number of toilets. (1100 if fixed but with current amount of toilets)
South stand: 3200
Skircoat: 2200
East stand: 3500
Total Capacity: 12400.
However due to various H&S in all stands the current capacity is just under 7000. That total is from someone who works at the Shay.

| I think the game should be not all ticket. If the ground fills, there should be a lock-out. I don't think the ground will fill. Anybody locked out can always watch it on TV! This way, the club can get round the silly H&S rules and actually FILL THE SEATS UP!
Look at the state of Wakefields ground. Its tiny, but can apparently hold 9-10000!
Calderdale Council - Pathetic.

| Bloody hell, here we have a chance to shine and show off and we are in the dark over what can and can't be done. I reckon we can get 10k in for this match easy so efforts should bemade to have all 4 stands open, no point having a shiny new 1/4 of a stadium if 2 other sides are for a big game, especially one on TV if it is.

| Only in Halifax can a ground be built to hold 9000+ but not be allowed to fill it and be capped at 6300!!

They only get their free tickets subject to availability.
So if you allocate them 1,000 tickets for instance (or whatever the minimum requirement is for the competition) then any others who want to buy tickets in the Fax end have to pay full price.

| Weren't we also on tv from the Shay in another cup-tie against Bradford when they put something like 68 points on us? Can't remember the year, though, but it was in the early 2000s I think.

But this would only apply if it was made an "all ticket". If it wasnt it would be turn up and use your season ticket, and the club just cant take that chance.
I personally think that they should sort out the north stand, then allocate the Bulls the North Stand, the Skircoat stand and half of the east stand, the remainder would sufficient for us.

| A full stadium would be worth ten points to the fax team, we need a full to capacity stadium for this one, its perfect timing considering the franchise stuff. Bulls would bring 5 easy and we could get 5 easy.

| Questions:
1. How much would it cost to bring the North Stand up to specification?
2. Would there be enough time to do the work before the Bradford game?
3. If this work were to be done and temporary toilets toilets installed to raise the ground capacity to it's maximum (12,400?) would it be an economically viable proposition to use this game to finance the North Stand renovation?
I think I read somewhere that the visitors are entitled to 30/40% of the available tickets. Once all those are claimed they would have to buy tickets from the remaining Fax allocation. Surely even the RFL could not force us to keep giving away tickets to Bradford until they are all gone.
Another question, it was also suggested somewhere that the "free tickets for the first round" system is subsidised by the RFL (i.e. the clubs are compensated). Does anyone know if this is correct?

| What's suddenly made the Skircoat inactive? Even with a TV gantry put somewhere in there, it's not going to fill more than half of it. At York on Thursday they just stuck it in the middle of that side terrace and fans were either side of it.
East Stand
South Stand
Half Skircoat will still be approaching 8,000.
Anyway, with 7 weeks to go, I'm sure there'll be quiet words in peoples ears about getting the North done in time for then, I didn't even realise the work on that was going to be all that major. We've always had that toilet problem so get the terracing sorted first and cap it.

| Might need a 3 month report though costing £25,000 to see if the toilets would be viable.
