I appreciate your posts Neil. Thank you.
With regards to Garside, if I am honest I would rather us have kept Brierley who I thought impressed in the games he played for us where as Garside was one I was not too fussed about but hopefully he can settle in and kick on. I would say the same about Morris who seems to have stagnated over the past 2 or 3 seasons. Theres no doubt he is a 100% effort type player its just a shame his improvement has slowed quite a bit from when he burst in to the team. To be fair I thought he started this season quite well so again hopefully he kicks on.
These two signings do highlight that we desperatley need some nasty snarling prop forwards though as our backs are taking shape but we may end up with a couple of decent half backs, the best hooker in the league, and a lightweight pack for them to play behind.

Yes would have loved to see Brierley stay at the club because he was a good player within himself and offered something different from Matt for the team as a group, variation / options are usually a good thing.
I heard Fax wanted to and did try to keep PB but he was tempted by the Toronto offer and a chance to play in SL, the club alluded to that situation in their update to the fans in the outgoing players section.
There must be some incoming forwards to be added to to resigning’s surely?

Nice to know someone does. I believe we may have a couple of props on way, names not known.

| Well I'm happy that JS has put pen to paper, he knows what he is capable of and of the hard work required to get him to his best.
Good on yer Salty, kick on next season pal.

| Solid re-signings. Salty is steady away and wont shy away from the hard graft. Has to be on the wing though, never a centre for me. Salty at centre for me just shows how desparate we are for a couple of quality centres. Woody should have the fullback shirt for me but we know thats not happening. Quality player on his day and needs a bit of good luck with injuries and a good run in the team although I think its looking like he will be filling the other centre spot. I think our backs and halfs look promising so far but as has been said we are crying out for some props. 2 good props really could be the difference between us chasing 5th spot and actually been hopeful of a top 4 challenge.
