Awesome effort from Leigh to take it to the final round, i know its a tough time, but the new coach and players really gave it a go after a dreadful start, so i hope the fans weren’t too hard on them.

You had a good ride, and have a cracking stadium and a good hardcore fan base, you’ll be back.

A fantastic achievement to be once again the best part time team in the competition and finish level on points with 2 teams spending a shed load of money and who are also full time. The groundwork set in place a few years back is now producing results and we now have to come up with a way to kick on to the next level. We can start by putting a marker down in the 8's.

An amazing achievement. Surely, the positivity in the club and being spoken about by others must attract investment to come on board and allow to take the next step....

It makes me feel very uncomfortable having Leigh fans coming on here congratulating us. Do they "really" mean it? I'd hate it if it were the other way round. Glad Fev and Leigh (in particular Fev) didn't make it. Want Fax and Fax alone to do well, don't care for anyone else.

Sorry, HX Sparky, but I don't believe for one minute that other clubs' supporters are "pleased" we've done well. I wouldn't be for another team. But maybe I'm bitter and twisted? Not really, just honest.

Believe it, they want UK championship sides to do well. We have TWP, TO, London and us in the M8's. Leigh & Fev are hoping we do well in the face of that, and I'd be wishing them (Leigh/Fev) well the same if they were in our position.

Well i for one will be hoping Fax do well in the M8s,I predict Fax to beat Toronto,and you deserve to be where you are.good luck.

Great result yesterday. Thanks to the Leythers, especially Derek for hanging on to Jukes for just long enough, your current setup came so close to the top 4 and have been going well since we hammered you.

Onward for the rest of the season, a couple of wins would be nice this time round rather than everybody saying how well we played but just missed out on the win.

Without doubt the most competitive Championship comp this season. 6 top teams battling it out all season and ultimately 5 teams for 3 places at the back end of the season.
Roller coaster ride right up to the last round which has made for a much better product to watch etc.
This is the best achievement getting to the middle 8's we have done on such a low budget compared to others and more full time teams etc.
Need to kick on now and not just make up the numbers in the 8's. Use this as a springboard to build for the future etc.
