Whilst I have gone on record as to not liking D/R, are Fax really in a position to do without this evil necessity ?
I am sure RM is only agreeing to it as a last resort and would r their use his full squad, give them game time,bring on the confidence and keep team spirit going within the camp, unless of course the club we D R with lend use some game breakers of renown. Until the the full facts are known everything is speculation, giving the 'ner do Wellers something to get into a lather about and spout more hot air.
Only my humble opinion of course.

This year I appreciate where your coming from, I too am disappointed, why not give it one last season, see how it goes and make your mind up at the end of 2017.
After all your not only missing rugby you will miss your mates and most importantly you will never find out what Bentlymans carries in his bag.

I understand your stance on DR and your reasons for not liking it but if you were given the choice of Halifax been in a relegation battle at the end of next season and not using DR or Halifax been in a battle for the top 4 and using DR which would you pick?

We have been D/R for a few seasons now and as far as I recall never had much benefit from the arrangement. I suspect RM will go down the same as before. We use when and if it suits us not the other way round when the SL clubs have dictated who will play. "Oh so and so is coming back from injury you play him". We know that doesn't work as those players don't give 100% as they don't really give a stuff if the little club loses or wins as long as the player gets a run out. Not a fan so let's hope RM manages it as well as he has been doing. In RM we trust

Looks like a 'neccessary evil' to me this one in view of the cost cutting. (Ops Director, two assistant coaches,several players,etc gone) I appreciate everyone is entitled to their opinion on DR, and mine is well documented on previous posts, but I wouldn't let it deter me from supporting the club-especially at this, what looks like a financially precarious time. End of the day it's a results driven buisness and we need to use whatever means we can to get those results on the field. I for one don't want to see us in a relegation scrap.

At a time where the club needs the fan's backing and support more than ever i find Hudd Shay's attitude astounding.

None of us want to go ahead with DR however we don't have much choice right now.

It's ok you saying 'relegation battle' over DR but what a daft comment. This means even lower crowds, even less money coming in, bigger pay cuts the following year, bigger player loss, sponsorship loss and chance of relegation (If this was to happen then we'd be absolutely screwed).

You might prefer to see the club go to the wall rather than link up with a super league side but I certainly wouldn't.

I hope you find something entertaining to do on Sunday afternoon's next year.

this argument going on all over RL. but RFL cant see the damage it is doing to clubs fans.
