Its not whether they are better players, its whether they will fit into a team structure that counts. I don't feel most Leigh players would fit into the Fax structure. Its the team that wins the league and individuals win a game or two. Leigh definitely have better individuals which you would expect with the money they spend but are they a great team - only time will tell which "TEAM" is best

Man for man , player for player then yes I do our pack I'd far superior who have you to match Calahane, Tangata,Ambler, and Dane Manning,and don't try to tell me Ridyard is better than Murrell,because he's not.

FWIW I would take Ambler and Cahalane at Leigh any day of the week. Emmitt is just as good as either of them though. Tangata I don't know much about to be honest and Manning wouldn't get into our back row ahead of Hansen, Patterson, Maitua, Barlow, Hopkins etc.

If you offered every team in the league a choice of Ridyard and Murrell I am confident Ridyard would get picked by the vast vast majority.

Not come on to your forum to pick an argument, I think Fax are building well and should be top 3. If you honestly think only 1 Leigh player would get into your team though you are beyond deluded. The likes of Jake Emmitt, Liam Kay and Mickey Higham would walk into any team in this division and improve them massively.

Nozzy I can see you are a deep thinker,I admit maybe Mickey Higham would get into our team but he turned us down years ago as for Emmitt I disagree the guy is overweight doesn't look fit never breaks the defensive line and is no ball player.I haven't made the comparison from next seasons team because you can't comment on guys who have not played for you yet,as for Ridyard I don't rate him I admit not a bad goal kicker but he's slow and is an average half give me Murrell every day.I look forward to our games next year.

Emmitt averages 60 minutes as a prop week in week out. To say he is overweight or unfit makes you sound silly. His fitness is his best characteristic. For me he was our Player of the Season last year and regularly breaks the defensive line.

If you're happier with Murrell and we are happier with Riddy then I guess both sides are satisfied. I do rate Murrell, classy player. I rate Manning too but personally wouldn't swap either for what we have currently.

We don't play each other for 4 months yet though so plenty of time left for arguing before we see what happens on the pitch

A lack of real quality around at the moment. I just dont see where all Sheffields and Fevs players are coming from. Fev will have decent halfs in Thackery and Craven but a pretty poor pack going on what we know so far.
