What I don't get is what's he moaning about. If it was a straight one up one down, Then it would have been leigh promoted because the bulls weren't good enough. Or we could have the top four from the middle eights going into super league. Again bulls not good enough.
He also moaned about what his players had to go through this week. Well doh? This is sport. If YOUR team Mr Lowes, couldn't handle the pressure and weren't prepared. Then some serious questions need asking of the coaching staff.

Maybe home advantage was worth the 8 points difference today. Maybe we kept Bulls down! hahaha

How often I have to listen to the drivel of Hudds fans asking how we "think we could cope in SL / infrastructure etc..." Complete tosh. Like it is some holy land or elite level. We were already there and had ONE bad year ffs.

I genuinely thought that Fax would have turned both clubs over yesterday.

Now he and every Bulls supporter know how we have felt over all these years when there wasn't even a "super anything".
We were left indefinitely to life in the Championship.
At least all the clubs are now a lot clearer on what we need to do on and off the field and the word is Fax are pushing forward in those key areas.
It's the first year of change and largely it's been a success for all involved.
The clubs have taken to it, the media and Sky guys have taken to it.
I can't see any reason why the powers that be won't be inclined to invest more in it and if central funding could be evened out a bit more then the middle eights would be even better.

His outburst in the post match interview was pretty poor form as he didn't even mention anything about the game itself other than poor refereeing decisions that he found unacceptable along with the whole middle 8's concept. It even got Eddie Hemmings riled who did point out that if it had just been 4 up he wouldn't have had the chance anyway.etc.
No team has a God given write to be in SL and don't we know it having been in the wilderness for over a decade now! I wonder if James Lowes and Darryl Powell share the same bag of sour grapes?

Jimmy and Derek B should host a new Sky weekly round up of Championship Rugby.
I haven't worked out what it should be called yet and it might have to be on after the watershed.

Spot on, my biggest worry was that it would ruin the Championship, but surely SKY can see some value to this concept , and hopefully find some cash to pay for it
