How pathetic that the other threads on this topic get locked but this one can stay open so long as everyone plays nicely, doesn't that apply for any other topic ?

I don't wonder some of the footy club fans despise us lot so much. I'm one of the fortunate ones whereby i can stomach other sports & not just an Halifax RLFC obsessive.

Maybe it's time i stopped logging onto here again for a while, i don't think it'll be too long before the Rhino slagging starts either, i don't recall any othe Halifax coach not copping it on here by the experts.

It looks pathetic to any FCHT fan who comes on here and sees all the locked topics on the front page, people talk about trying to build bridges between the clubs, then something like that makes the RL side of things look bitter, let FCHT have their day in the sunshine (even if it is in november). while it might not interest everyone, the Cup game for Town is a matter of local interest, I don't know who Town play this week, who they played last week or who they play after Charlton, and same could be said for some town fans and our game vs the Bulls.

Best of luck to them, unlikely to get a result but you never know with Football, far more likley than in RL anway

Works both ways Colin. The amount of abuse the Soccer lot dish out on forums, in public etc is worse than on here. As said I was spat at when a teenager for wearing a Fax top in town one Saturday. The way the Soccer lot seem to insist that we constantly owe money and that we are squatters etc-funny as we are in the same position to them regarding the ground. The way a few town fans persistantly seem to enjoy posting ridiculous statements on the Courier Website well I have no respect for the fans and the club and never will. I was the first person in my famly born in the area so I have no loyalty to support Halifax Town or any other sports club fom the area and dont need people telling me well you should support a Halifax team in all things. The way the two faced stirrer Bubba act on here shows the mentality of a number of Town Fans I know. People like Bubba are worse than the idiots who love to create the rumours and lies.

I dont even follow Soccer. And in my experience Soccer fans (Not just Town fans) are way more one eyed towards other sports than their own compared to Rugby fans. I have no time for Town or soocer in general. Thats my opinion and if people dont like it Tough. I enjoy a number of sports but I dont like the bandwagon sport Soccer and I am sure there are many others out there of the same opinion.

I have given up caring to be honest 'enry.

Shall be at the game though although dont expect us to get anything out of it except a decent pay cheque. But who knows, the magic of the cup and all that.
