Thought Worrincy had torched the grass with the speed he was running at today!

It was in the toilets and was a discarded cigarette.

No it really was a stand under it. There was a lot of smoke coming out. Plus a cigarette in a toliet may have set the alarm off, but there's nothing really in there that would create that smoke, 99% of it is just stone with a little bit of toilet paper.

Aye we were in the North Stand and the gossip going round was that it was a little stall underneath the stand near an exit.

Really? So the stewards that tackled the fire in the storeroom in the ladies toilets are all making it up then? I must tell the guys in the control room that it was the burger bars fault.

Was it in a store room or a toilet? If it was someone with a cig then fair enough, it doesn't bother me who or how it happend, if it was a cig that person is a numpty. All i'm saying is I can't picture someone dropping a cig in a toilet cubicle, and that much smoke happening. You get me?


Plus I genuinely was told by a steward it was a stall. I just believed that as to me it made most sense.

I bore witness to said fire. It was in the concession. I was waiting for a pie. Gutted

have to say that smoke was not coming from the tolilets, fair play to the officials, so many experts who did not know what was going on ( its easy to saY What u would of done when u r not in the hot spot!) , bottom line, comms was good, behavour of both sets of fans was poor! however in the end was handled well, there will always be some fans who try it on then claim they were treated badly!

The evacuation was poorly handled and could have caused serious injury. Getting people to rush to the front was not good. Its a concrete stand we had a lot of time to safely evacuate.
