I just hope that what we have "on paper" translates well on the pitch and that we get the attendances which that squad deserves.

Totally agree!
The back line (1-7) picks itself at the moment, and that includes Miles who will be out for the first part of the season (If I remember rightly!). So we defo need some cover in there. Worrincy, Roberts and Bowman offer some, but need another centre at least!
Will be interesting to see if the rumours of Stanley's mates coming over develop in to something!! |

I would like to see young Bowman get some game time.
Think we will need him to cover 6 in case Branighan gets a knock.
If we start running away with some games they should get him off the bench.

Yep got to agree, he just wasn't ready last year as we saw against Batley.

I think it's unlikely he'll be on the bench in any case, 1 hooker 2 props and Roberts more likely for me |

Thats the quandry for MC.
A run out in some of the 'easier' NRC games would be a good idea imo.
The performance at Batley can be put down to a freakish accident.
One things for certain Fax WILL be on fire in 2010, the forward fire power combined with pivotal talent will make us a handful for everyone. |

Hey! I said he would Always thought he had a high work rate in defence that generally went un-noticed, just needs to pump those legs a bit when taking the ball up. An all round solid player who could prop for 10 years if he continues to develop. Well done to Neil, i think he deserves his chance. |

Neil just needed to use his weight last year, half the time he'd just flop to the ground. He has loads of potential and hopefully MC has worked in his weak areas. Worrincy and Cherryholme are both in for a cracking year.  |
