Losing Ben Black would be the biggest blow that you guys could get BUT......I`ve allways said that this guy is too good for this league and should be in SL.....so him leaving (if true) wouldnt surprise me.
It doesnt matter if he`s contracted to you for next season......money talks.

errr yes it does - if he's contracted to us and we dont want to sell - then he stays with us. Anyway,If we keep progressing like we are doing im sure he will want to be part of it. |

Alot of our players are rumoured to be leaving Gleeson to Widnes (cos of Cullen aparantly) Penky to Leigh (hes been going to his home town club for the last 2 years acording to them) and Black of course is going to Super League but rumours are all they are. |

All these rumours are coming from the Leigh & Widnes boards. It's a substitute for their clubs having a naff season. Actually, the latest i've heard is that Leigh have signed up all our forwards and Widnes have signed our entire back line. I expect they'll end up as effective as Varks has become since he moved to Widnes.

I agree Littlerich - why would they want to leave Fax and go to one of our smaller rivals? just doesnt make sense.  |

cant see you getting in to SL with out an academy set up

No i dont think so - Our CEO has stated that we are trying to build the squad so we can take most of them into SL if we get there. The plans are in place for the academy and our scholarship programmes is set up as we speak(i think!) that will provide the players.
We want to be the best team for the next 3 years. |

That's really interesting because I've not even seen any mention of Ben Black on our forum, let alone any rumours about said moves to Super League clubs...
