Bastion was getting a right slating during the second half for
lacking the likes of Hardman,Kain,Saxton etc,suppose he got it right
eventually.In your opinion JT what is there not to like about
him as i can't see it ?

Class signing. One of the top 3 wingers in the division for me. Lets hope it is made permanent.

I think he is a great player who will be a big assett.

Good luck Tommy. He always gave of his best for us and I am sure can do a good job for Fax. He might not have many 80 metre tries left in him, like the 2011 grand final, but he never goes backwards in the tackle.

Been a great player for us over the years and can still do a job lower down this league. But im surprised Bastian didn't get rid during pre season. Maybe he was waiting foe Etu to arrive. He hardly beat a man last season and gone are the days he would make a few 30 - 40 yard runs per game. we were saying that he would be replaced for this season

Dont think its a case of Bastian just wanting his own team like jtfev says, think its more a case of him looking at the team and seeing where we can improve. We have brought in Chisolm and etu and have probably the leagues best winger in sharp, so Saxton's games with us will be very limited.

Surprised Fax are interested in him but If Warrancy is injured maybe just want cover for a few weeks.

hes 30, but yeah, seemed to have lost some of that last season. Noble was laughing about how no one could tackle him in the NRC final against you lot. just seemed different player last season

There are a lot of unhappy Fev fans because of this signing, but guess we have to move on as does Tommy. He will be a good signing for Fax whether this is for a month or longer. However if it did turn out that Tommy sill has the oppotunity to play again in a Fev shirt I wouldn't be disapointed.

I would guess that Bastian believes he has better wingers at Fev than Tommy, and having never been a coach who am I to disagree.

Saxton leaving Fev has split opinion amongst the fans just like Finn has. Many think he can still do a job and are gutted he looks to be leaving, many like myself arn't bothered.

Its my opinion that we have had the best of him and I like the fans I go to the matches with I thought last season would have been his last for us.

To be Honest I think a lot of fev fans who dont like change are just using it as a stick to hit Bastian with

I see it a lot like when Barlow signed for Fev last year.

It may give Tommy a new lease of life having a change with a different set up.
A month on loan suits all parties and if it works out he might like what he sees and come up with the goods on the field and stay a bit longer, if not nothing lost for either clubs or player.
I know I will be looking forward to seeing him in a fax shirt and giving him some support, as will others, he will be well received at Fax.
