bulls had a good era when he was their assistant coach also and got salford back to super league once. not a bad record when u look at coaches records these days of win, lose

I know he does post negatively, but I am with him on this one. Karl is a great bloke and a good young english coach, who has a long way to go before he should be considered for the National coaching role.

In my opinion the only option is John Kear, with possibly Karl helping him in an assistant role.

We can't have an overseas coach, seeing Smith singing the National Anthem last Saturday was ridiculous. And we don't need a "coach" at international level anyway just someone who can give motivational speeches, it's just gotta be Alex Murphy!

In all honesty it just shows the state of the game in this country that we cant highlight an obvious successor. We have been saying it for 25 years that we dont develop enough of our own players and coaches. Its important that we learn from the Aussies that come over but once again we are left short. At domestic level every time expansion gets involved the teams are full of Australians, nobody has the bottle to say....Hey! start at the bottom and develop your own players and we will help you along, its alway a quick fix for super league. The bottom line is SKY MONEY!
