A winning team will make that back up in no time with increased attendances but I agree about Calland.

Not sure how would effect crowd for Sunday as unless speaks to team & Calland as a coach tonight he'll have 0 input before that game? If he was named head coach maybe a difference in belief not sure how much impact a 2 day a week man would make until results started improving on the field first?

Well we did ask for something to happen after last week and it has, well chuffed if this is a done deal and if so well done Board it is a good move.
If we do get a SL Licence then maybe we will have our coach already in Nobby but if we don't then surely his influence on things will make us improve.

I think it is very harsh to say MC is doing "crap" at his job. If you judge him over his entire period rather than the last 8 weeks, he has done extremely well.

I agree that there are areas where he always has seemed to struggle - getting the team to play consistently and on the line defence spring to mind. However, until now, these have been compensated by the attacking rugby which MC seems extremely capable at coaching.

In successful businesses, management help those with talent and potential by training them in their weaker areas.

Even if Noble does join, it may not work. However, I admire the board for their faith in MC, and looking at an alternative way to solve a problem.

What will Calland's role be? Does he just do what Nobby says? Who will the players take instruction from? How does a coaching "partnership" like this operate?
