Football supporters saved our club?

Drivel, drivel, drivel.

SOME narrow minded, bigoted football supporters have saved both our clubs from having to play in a superb, finished stadium with a long term future.

You need to give Bubba a big pat on the back, that's the view you generally have if him, I guess.

Yes that's right.

This thread was started to acknowledge the council's decision to call off the potentially illegal and undervalued sale of an asset to the Town. As asset that costs less to run and has more potential than the library, theatre and swimming baths. A sale that would have threatened the future of the two clubs by placing unecessary risk on the stadium.

A great decision by the council following the actions of the football supporters. A decision which may have saved your club from extinction or, at least, losing their home.

In contrast you narrow-minded Abbot worshipers were blinded by nothing but love for the man and would happily sell your bodies to him if he spun the right words.

We don't expect a thank you but how can you hate your club so much?

I also look forward to Abbott's sponsorship of an FCHT game in the near future, now that the sale is off.

Hey Blubbas crawler has spoken again, the Town zealot who knows all about lauding his master.

Have you got permission to speak again.

Honesty. icon_lol.gif Everytime your lips move that goes out the window, you haven't even got the guts to stand behind what you say but run off like all whimps, so change your sermon Blubbas underling.

Crying, yes well you know all about that, you've been doing it ever since the Fax moved you out of the way down at the Shay. icon_lol.gif

The football supporters or Bubberites, too different groups.
The first give support to their team the second support their own self d right in their own eyes agenda.

How sad that is the only purpose in their lives, without a keyboard they would be nothing and with one they are still nothing.

I bet your mum had to apologised for giving birth to you, so go back home and say sorry for that.

While your at it, those hundreds of people that have missed out on the jobs that were to be created at the Shay do the same for them.

I'm sure they will thank you for saving them and there families.

Especially those that remain unemployed because some of them may not be able to pay their rent due to your really smart work.

The Shay is not just a piece of real estate for a few people to dictate to others about.

It involves people, some of them may have their lives deeply affected and ruined because of you and your actions.

Be over the moon about that and show what you are really all about and don't be "sush" about it let everyone know what you have done.

Sorry that just reads as one massive cry and whinge, Abbott lover.

The bits about apologising to people for not creating jobs, not paying their rent (bit rich), deeply affecting people's lives - it's all priceless.

TA and Halifax RLFC - the shining beacon of hope for the masses of unemployed cruelly stopped in their tracks by the evil FCHT fans.

Yes that's what this was all about. Not about the security of the club's, which I won't deny is the number one over-riding issue for Town fans and should be for any HRLFC fan who doesn't hate their club. Since when did FCHT or HRLFC have a duty to the unemployed? Why does TA need to own the stadium to create jobs ("Yeah I know - he wants to build an extension on his house"icon_wink.gif.

Your paranoid spouting of political nonsense only serves to prove why the FCHT fans were the only one's thinking straight and doing the right thing for the future of the two clubs.

Funny how quick you are to resort to (very poor) insults whilst chastising the football fans behaviour at every given opportunity.

Still, that goes back to the whole hypocrisy thing doesn't it?!!

Don't worry, the next time The Shay and YOUR club is in danger we will do what it takes to protect them, including marching on the town hall again if necessary. I promise you that 1000000000000000000%.

And that's all you can say isn't it, like a clockwork toy stuck on the skirting board with nowhere to go.

Get some tea shirts with "We saved the Shay" on them and wear them in public if your so proud of what you have done.

Have you got the guts to come out from behind your keyboard, after all surely you would like all them people from the community you have saved to thank you properly.

Looking forward to hearing all about your missionary work within the community in the name of Halifax RLFC. After all, that's the purpose of the club isn't it? a014.gif a014.gif d040.gif d040.gif

Completely delusional. ..

I thought it was bubba in front, but your so far up your own.

The stadium will eventually be sold, at a lot less when it's left to decay, why should they upkeep northanand west stands when not used

Quote: "The Shay was full yetserday proving what an asset it is to the community....It reaffirms that the stadium is a community asset.
'"

The Shay was nowhere near full because the stadium has substandard toilets which dont work properly and seating and steps that are damaged and are against health and safety rules. The luddites that follow Halifax Town might fing such things acceptable but most normal people dont. Comments included that people felt the Stadium was in a poor state due to dmamaged seats and poor toilets. Great way to advertize the Stadium and Halifax with such facilities to potential new fans and visitors to the town and stadium eusa_shhh.gif eusa_shhh.gif eusa_shhh.gif
