| great to watch a Fax team playing well again, no where near as many mistakes as recent games, and Barlow is back on top form, some great plays and offloads in the tackle which make him the player he is.

Ditto that, we would have scored a bagfull if we had been allowed to play faster at the play the ball.

| Listening to Harrison on radio he said the team was sensational today so you must of played really well and you took the top spot from us Don't know what your crowd was but lets hope your fans are back because you are now the team to beat in the championship well done

Thanks jt, not sure we were sensational, but I felt we were good. A lot of moves seem to be coming off and I feel a lot more encouraged.
Poor crowd 1500, I'm afraid a lot of people I talk to seem to be a little bit down, every other club except Fev seem to have lower crowds this year.
I will reserve my decision about where we actually are for a little bit yet, but as I say i'm a little happier after today.

| Well done Fax. Even though a mate of mine is a DR for Hunslet, I hope Hunslet get relegated. Just dont agree with the DR system at all. And I dont see why Hunslet feel the need to use 5 DRs. Max of 3 for me. Anyway great win and much better performance especially from a couple like Sam and Thacks who have not had the best of starts to the season. The standards been set so now the players have to keep it up

| That was better we played some good stuff and got the ball past the second man more than we have all season so far, we still gave the ball away a bit too often but credit where it is due we scored 3 excellent tries and shut the noisy small bunch of Hunslet fans, credit to them for creating some noise although wish they would stick to supporting their team rather than football style 'goading'.

| I thought it were a really controlled performance for most of the game and its still clear to see we can do even better than this. I just hope we can make it click against a big team.
Fieldhouse went well again and is going to get a ton of tries this season. I bet he cant wait to play on a decent pitch. I thought Patto went ok and looks a bit short of confidence. Heaton looked to be carrying a knock but I think he can get better and better if he has the right coaching and could be a real handful in the centre. Maybe we have found Bowman a position after like 5 or so seasons of been on the fringe. his tackling obviously needs work but I thought he did real well with it yesterday and stood up to the task. Using Manning for most of the game in defence on that side will help him no doubt. Ball in hand we know he can play. Worrincy was his normal quality self. I still dont think he gets the credit he deserves for the amount of work he puts in. For the size of him he should always hit as hard as he did yesterday.
Im not sure what it is with Thackery. At times he looks brilliant but he bombed one try yesterday and threw out a number of awful passes. He just seems to panic when he is under pressure and needs to learn to have a bit more composure because if he had the same presence as say Ben Black he could be fantastic at this level. Murrell is quality not much more to say. Handforth looks a different player and has been one of our best all season.
Ambler was quiet but that is no surprise really but has been great all season. Tonks looked like a man possesed and was a tower of strength. Manning was a machine as usual. I didnt notice Casey or Ashall were playing tbh.
On the bench I thought Sheriffe had his best game for us and to be honest he probably did deserve dropping as he hasnt been all that good. Divorty had a steady game again that was to be expected. I thought Robbo got through a lot of work and Barlow also had his best game for us this season.

| Not bad seeing as Thacks and Ambler weren't feeling particularly great. Luke said he had a stomach bug.

Thacks was really trying yesterday and looked a lot more dangerous with the ball in hand and as we have said if he is to be a running half back then that's what he needs to do, yestersay he did and he looked the part.
Luke not feeling too good still put in an effort but it was reflected in the substitutions he came off earlier than normal yesterday and had a lot less overall time on the pitch than is normal for him.
I don't think missing a couple of days meals will have too much effect on his wasteline though.
