Is there anyone available who's good enough to break into our 17 ? What to do with the Robbo/Divo situation after Robbo's versatility displays between prop & 2nd row, also Barlow at prop rather than loose forward is pushing Maka further away from the 17.

I would have thought three quarters were targets with Haley having terrible luck before and during the Dewsbury injury, Nanyn a none-starter, Heaton & Tyrer all suffering mid to long term injuries.

I think we need another centre. Heaton is still a month away. Haley doesnt look good. Nanyn and Tyrer are longer term injuries. Maybe I am biased here but maybe look to bring Jimmy Keinhorst over on a months loan from Leeds. He has been killing the 9s comp and is highly rated at Leeds. He is quick, powerful and good in defence.

On twitter tyrer is saying he could be playing on thursday due to other injuries and shortage of players

Hopefully Haley will be back, but if not then I'd rather we bring someone in for a month than risking Tyrer who seemingly isn't a 100% fit. Or possibly we could try Rettie at ?

I hope Haley is good but its a concern its the same shoulder again. Hope even if its nothing it doesnt mentally effect him. I dont see Reittie as a centre personally.

Yes getting a bit short in the three quaters and there's still a lot of games to be played so if we have any more injuries it will certainly stretch us.
Rettie will be back for Thursday and Manning could do a job there if required and I'm sure KH will know what to do.

Couple of options if Haley is out. Thrackeray to full back with bowman in at half back and fieldhouse at centre or white to fullback , Rettie in on the wing and fieldhouse again at centre.

I think with big games coming up KH has to look at do we just make do with somebody who can play there but is less effective or changes to a few positions just to have a somebody who can play there or do we look at bringing in a loan signing who is a centre but doesnt know the system. Its one of those things where the Coach really is facing a tough decision as potentially the next month could decide if we have a good season or a excellent season.

While I wouldn't mind seeing us try out that 'Thacks at fullback' strategy, I don't think a game as important as Fev's is the one to try it on...

I don't think Rettie would do too badly in the position, powerful lad and if he could get the ball out well I think he'd do a fair job.

Looks like KH already has a very good idea who he wants to keep and get rid of for next season. One thing is for sure our pack will be menacing next season. Would love to see us bring Tonks in before the end of the season though.

Next years pack could well be 90% new with Jim Gannon probably finally retiring, Azuie not retained, Sam Barlow and Luke Ambler for super league ??

Im sort of expecting Ambler, Barlow, Tonks, Manning, Ashall, Robinson, Penky, Divorty and one or two others making up a formidable pack next season. But not counting chickens yet. I also expect Morrison and Nanyn to be offered pay as you play deals.
