Im guessing at Catalans and Crusaders

im guessing catalan and quins

I reckon they'll play their home fixture vs Cas at The Galpharm on Sunday June 5th, with pitch work starting that same week,

They'll then play the following two games at The Shay

Hudds vs Catalans (19th June)
Hudds vs Crusaders (3rd July)

They then don't have a home game til either 22/23/24 July (Cup Quarters) or Sun 31 July, so plenty of time in that period (good 6 weeks) to get the pitch work done.

Both the above games are listed as Sunday 3pm Kick Offs though, so presume we'll be away those weeks

Should be good to see Catalans but Taffs, well who knows.

Before some smart alec Widnes/Leigh fan mentions it

Perhaps we could lend our buckets to the Crusaders...

Nearly as predictable as Crusaders following up the opener against Salford with a game against Quins - RFL trying to give them a chance of starting with 2 wins to get local interest up ready for 3rd game against Bulls at home and also wipe out their negative points column as quick as poss.

Thats if Crusaders even make next season it was in todays paper that they may still go under so heres praying

Quins -

In fairness to both Hudds & Quins, they've developed lads to be selected into the National team, albeit a weakened National team with injuries & withdrawals, but it won't say that on the players' C.V.'s
I agree totally with U/C's "boring robotic" comments and feel that most clubs are in similar vein nowadays, this is one of the thing's that I feel that Halifax RLFC's coaching team deserve huge credit for, breaking away from the percentages game. I'm sure they'd wish for improved completion rates in almost every game we play, but I know what I'd rather watch !
