I would also like to see who you would choose instead of these players? OK! you have a point about the chips being down but just slagging the coach and players off wont solve the problem. At the begining of the season we would have settled for a top four finish but some of our fans are now thinking we are better than we actually are. We have to be realistic within the constraints of a buget. So please tell me your players?

you have got rid of half the team- if you have gone that far you might as well get rid of them all and sign some of the fans up to play the rest of the season.

i dont understand some of our fans- dont know if anyone has noticed we are joint tp of the league- we were always going to have a bad speel we were never going to go all season unbeaten, i think our early season form gave some people the idea we were invinsible we are not teams can beat us, the early form has got the fans to excited and now they think we should be invisible.

i agree with the worrincey comment he has done nothing and runs sideways.

We cant get rid of Goddard he is one of the best centres in the league he just never gets the chance to get the ball because we have so many creative players up the middles of the pitch we never get it out wide to much we started to towards the end of the game and goddard did well with a few things when he got the ball

the next point i will make is, people always say teams are offside on the opposition fair enough that may be true on occastions but i noticed something today we dont use the forwards neraly enough on our own line or anywhere on the pitch really. the amount of times Haley and Worrincey picked up from dummy half and ran it 5 metres from our line instead of passing it to the forwards which we should have been doing then we might make more yards up the pitch.

Patterson has become one of the best goal kickers in the team and again we have so many good players up the centre of the pitch we never get it wide that often.

i think we need to give Bowman his chance, we need to get a good winger to replace worrincey he has done nothing to be fair he comes in feild to get the ball and runs sideways.

i never thought we should have got rid of lee greenwood he scored tries for fun in the last season has good pace and knows how to finish.

I don't like slagging players or staff of. But it's the players and staff who keep telling us fans just how good they are in the media. Anyone in the know must cringe at the things that are written or said in the press. After all. All they have to do is perform to the best of their ability and shut the doubters up. Now that can't be too hard, or can it??

Just papering over the cracks im afraid. I guess everyone was highly delighted that we had come back to get within a whisker of a team that has put a half century on us at home.
At least in the paper they can say that our performance came out of the blue, who would have guessed we would buck our ideas up and give them a game?

As for the coach well anyone who has watched RL over the years can tell we have being missing a standoff. Govin comes on and we look a different team in attack. Yet when he is out injured the only true stand off at the club is watching from the stands and has been told he wont figure for us this season but hasnt being given a reason why. Penkys passing is crap quite frankly and hes being made to look a complete prat when played at six as for Beswick bring back Alan Platt.
Our pack has gone missing when it matters the most, we bring in a guy whos not good enough for Widnes but goes straight into the team but has shown nothing to suggest why he is keeping his place, guess thats good for team morale.

Calland has had so many foot in mouth moments this season its unbelievable but on his side he is young and learning but since the pressure has being on us the team has fallen way short of the mark.

I question the Coaching staff when they come out with "Best by a Country Mile"-despite winning bugger all! Other qoutes like "We do not know where that performance came from" Mr Ball in the week and "We have time to sort it out". I am sorry but Fax have an inexperienced coaching setup. We have IMHO too many players not playing in their position- Beswick, Penky at 6, Shad at 13 or 4 etc.

The players are great at off the cuff stuff that looks good when it works but when it doesnt there seems to be no game plan. They look lost without a proper number 6 and a quality kicker who can dig the team out of trouble. Its been obvious for months (Sheffield game) that if teams bully us we have little go forward and little game plan outside of the chip over the top.

Worrincy is simply fast and strong but has problems running straight and is a liability. Sorry but he just does not good enough. A couple of others I think will be gone. We have a nucleus of good players but we need a 6 who is not injured most the season and who can take the pressure of Black and Penky. We need forwards who run on to the ball and at gaps not ones that think they are halfbacks. We need players who can do the basics. We need a leader. Obviously money is tight but thats no excuse for the way the team put in performances. The players and Coaching staff need to look at themselves and question if they deserve to be here much longer as people will not put up with performances like the last 3 games.
