I think Grix wants 3 half backs, as we saw this season its probably needed with all 3 of ours picking up injuries. Grix has also got some great utility value in the squad as Jouffret can play fullback as well so there is going to be plenty of competition for places. Aston is a good player at this level, another of those who is not quite good enough for SL but is better than our 2 outgoing players. |

SG is clearly adding the bulk of the new signings with those who can not only play a bit but have a lot of experience, calm heads, leadership and who know what the games about and hopefully this will remove the headless chicken clueless aspects that were so evident in many games last season.
Aston follows the pattern and is a good player at this level.

He's obviously a very talented lad but as mentioned he is one of those who can rip it up in this league but is not quite good enough for SL meaning he has had a number of clubs and has also been unlucky with injuries. He is certainly an upgrade on Harris and Robinson and considering he may not even be first choice if Joufrett comes then it can only be good for us next season. |
