Hard to say Freddie as it doesn’t seem to be down to just one area and I’m at a loss to rationalise it.
Last year for example our attack looked clueless at times but our defence was one of the best.
How can that go to being one of the worst in the division shipping in nearly 90 points in the last 2 games?
No doubt RM will point out the injuries and not being able to field his strongest team yet but I wonder if there comes a time when a coach and group of players can’t go any further with the same ideas / game plan?

| 3 Years is a decent time span for a coach and usually after that sort of time its not unusual for things to go stale. Poor recruitment once again when given money to spend and rumours of discontent in the camp and its really time for the board to make a decision. His contract is up and its only fair one way or another to either back him or cut all ties now. The question in the past has always been could anyone do any better, and the answer has probably been no but now the question has to be could anybody do any worse. Given performances so far the season its hard to answer anything but no.

| Whats gone wrong?
Sentimentality, playing some week in week out no matter how they have played, dropping guys who have had storming games the week before, bringing in D/R players who don t really care about the blue 'n' white, must really p!$$ off the squad. It all adds up eventually
To be fair to Murrel he usually pulls it out of the bag, but imagine if he was a stone lighter.
I am no longer just skin and bones and know what it takes to drag a few extra Kilos around the park.

Fax in Asia; never a truer word spoken. Part time or not, there is no need for him to be carrying that extra weight around. Yesterday's result was disgusting. Seems like they were beaten before they got on the pitch. Yesterday's result would have told you a lot about mindset; if they had gone to compete but lost then there is still an element of positivity but the fact they were torn apart might indicate greater strife. 4 Points behind 5th with 100+ PD in arrears. Toulouse were always going to come out firing especially after Sheffield hammered them; it seems though that we couldn't do anything about it.

| According to our coach
“I don’t question the attitude, but our basic skill level and our defence had me shaking my head at times,”
According to the RFL
The Coach is responsible for: –
- structured and planned training sessions
- preparation of the players
- structure of the team game plan
- communicating this game plan to the players
- developing each players potential
- encouraging excellence in execution
- providing positive feedback and post game analysis to the players
- recruitment and retention, in some clubs
- contributing to, and being aware of, the importance of team morale.
I am not sure he gets it....its his failure

| He doesn't get it and I've been vocal for a long time that he simply has never been up to the job....
Most seasons have been sub standard performance wise, especially in the playoffs... He has been dugout of the brown stuff by senior players rallying the squad... Other than year 1 he has not been responsible for very much, other than poor player recruitment and bad budget handling... He rarely sets the training regime and has poor man management skills. The guy like the BOD are in over their heads and need relieving of their duties.... I wish I had the spare cash to do something because it's been clear to me for several years that under RM weve stagnated and thus needs to change quickly or crowds, finances and interest will result in dire consequences IMO....

| Fact is that the competition is tougher with a lot of teams capable of getting in the top 5. Even some of the lower sides are capable of springing a surprise. No room for complacency. It’s a game of inches and all that. A couple of better decisions could’ve got you a win on Good Friday.
Isn’t there a more even distribution of funding coming into play soon so finishing outside the 5 won’t be the cliff edge it used to be?

| What he said above. Games of inches. Bradford have won 6 on the bounce playing, at times, terrible rugby and relying on some sort of bizarre comeback when all is lost. Great fun to watch a come back but it's masking something. I suspect you can't find the single smoking gun as to why you aren't quite at the races yet. The reasons are too subtle but as a supporter what you want to know is that the problem has been identified and something is being done.

Some embarassing contributions in there from a few players. There can be no excuses for tackling like that in the first 20 minutes of a game no matter what anyone says.

| Jeez, whether they were rolling us, passing with purpose of laboring to score, our defensive structure looked pathetic. So many times individuals seem to be pushing up and creating gaps for Ford, Kherelliah and Bartau. That Joe Bretherton score was abysmal. Some of the tackling is pathetic. Lacks any venom. They'd lost that game before they got on the field. I back Marshall but he can't use busted players and injuries as an excuse. That was clearly inept. Every team plays busted players and players carrying knocks.

The highlights from the bradford game are on youtube courtesy of Bradford as well and again its the same players that are way off the pace. I mean Bradfords last try what is that? I see Marshall saying about our basic skills been lacking and he really shouldnt have to do much in that area in regards to coaching but he signed a lot of these players so does that mean he didn't do proper research on them? Either way I think its time for him to go and a heavy defeat over at Sheffield will only enhance that feeling amognst fans.

| Personally I get bored listening to the same excuses when we lose from the club and from some of the fans on social media - we threw away the Bulls game , I have seen some of the tries conceded in France , I can accept that players may have been tired and carrying knocks but I cannot accept not trying.
Look at the Hunslet game in the cup we made hard work of that - the team we had in 2009 or 2010 would have brushed them aside and not even broke sweat doing it....
