No,good player as he is,this is his level.

On current form, showing and ability in this Fax side I would say no but as a full time player in a full time environment in a team like Hull with better players across the park it may be different.

He's definitely worth a shot. He'll be at Fev on DR no doubt.

As well as the starting 17 most SL clubs carry an extra 10-15 players in their squad. Tangata and most of the other better Championship players might not be starting 17-calibre in SL, but they'd be at least as good as some of the players at the bottom end of the roster. In fact, large numbers of Championship players were once reserves at SL clubs and most of them don't prove dominant at Championship level.

So often, it depends on the player's circumstances ie does he have a good job outside rugby and want to stay part time, or is he itching for a crack at playing full time?

If i were in Hull's position i would only consider signings that were ripping it up in championship like Alex Walmsley/Chris Hill.

Tangata is good enough for Super League. Might just take him some time to get up to speed. He certainly has all the attributes to be in Super League. Lets not forget a lot of Championship players have gone on to be successful in Super League. Just hope he stays.

We are lacking some impact from the bench, could do with a junior Moore type player, so I hope we don't sign a non fed player to be a squad member, we need a player to help improve us and make sure we stay in the top 4

What does good enough for Super League even mean?
Anyway, my opinion is of course he is, whether he would have the impact he has in the championship I don't know, he might actually thrive in a better team, this could be said of many players though, so I would go back to what does it actually mean.

If the question is, would it be worth a super league side taking a punt on him, yes is the answer. His attitude and conditioning are of Super League potential. He has carried our attack and forwards on occasions.

We should leave this until the top four is sorted though, no distractions, and no need to be discussed at this stage, other than to sign him up for next season so we can get a fee should one be applicable. He's a safe bet to get re signed early. Low risk in terms of his performance and potential to pay back a few quid should opportunity knock. The worst situation would be to lose him, no fee, and have him smashing us to bits dual reg'ing for another championship club.

Would be sad to see him go but can't blame him for having a go at SL if that is what he wants to do.I agree re earlier comment though that I wouldn't be happy to see him playing against us on DR.
