| So a flash which comes up on the club website front page is all you see of the clubs attempt to get us to buy a 2017 Season ticket, no details of the deal and how to get one unless you stumble on the shop where there is the buy now option but just for the season ticket.
Where was my notification to renew as an existing season ticket holder like an email or letter???
Where is the deal mentioned on the 1st October that 'fans will be able to ‘bolt-on’ a number of products including Fax TV Pro, ‘Cashfax’ membership and replica shirts, and for the first time, spread the total cost of their purchases over four interest-free instalments.'???
Oh and that slipped under the radar that the club plan to put us all in the East Stand for certain games again!!!
Fans do NOT want to go in the East Stand who are South Standers the club will lose money as fans will not go.
Yet the club need our money!

| instead of moaning on here, phone the club and pit you questions to them. then as you are on your phone buy your season ticket.
If you end up in the East stand for a game or two you will be getting a good deal as your season ticket for the South stand is cheaper. Stop moaning about how bad the club is and maybe start thinking about how you can do your bit to help, even just buying your ticket helps.
Think not, what can my club do for me, but what can I do for my club !!

With the greatest of respect, in fairness to faxlore I don't think we should have to phone the club to get the answers.
What does bolt on mean?
As an East Stand season ticket holder I wouldn't like it if I had to stand in the South Stand and therefore faxlore and many more think visa versa, the cost of the ticket doesn't come into it.
Surely it would be better for the club to clarify this on their website rather than the office being inundated with phone calls.
I don't think John F Kennedys old headmasters quote applies here, I respectfully think it's up to the club to keep us informed.

| "Bolt on" is a term which, I believe, was first used in the mobile phone industry.
I'd say "discounts on related products" but, then, I prefer plain speaking.

I accept that Richard but without telling us what size the bolt is some may have difficulty deciding if it is worth it.

| When I phoned to renew our tickets I was asked if I wanted to add Fax TV Pro for £48/yr, a PDF copy of each matchday programme sent prior to the game £30, or the as-yet-unseen new replica shirt for £45. I think these prices are right but don't shoot the messenger if I scribbled down the wrong amount.
I didn't really have any time to consider these deals so refused them for now. I don't know whether I'll be able to ring back and add them on at a later date if I change my mind.

| In regards to Faxlores comments about what we can do for our club, the OP has done a lot for the club and been an active member of the supporters trust for many years. So I find it unfair to use the 'stop moaning' 'If you think you can do it better' attitude to counter peoples genuine concerns. (of which there are many atm)
Where I watch the game on matchday fluctuates but I am mainly a south stander and feel closing it for games would kill any kind of atmosphere our crowd could muster. This would have a negative effect on the team which impacts every other aspect of the business. IMO

| Reality is no "atmosphere" is generated anyway, other than a whimper of "Oh Hali, Hali" from what's left of the long departed "Barmy Army".
Most noise I've heard generated this year has been in the North Stand when Leigh, Bradford and Widnes were in there.

| I thought the matchday atmosphere was brilliant backend of last season and beginning of this season but it's fallen off a cliff with all the negativity and at times this year the shay has been like a library. Imo would only get worse if put in the east for lesser games and that is a geniune concern of diehard fans not just moaning! If that's what we've become a one stand club then thats just another fall from grace from once a great club

| Some people myself included much prefer to stand so it's a genuine moan.Add the SSB,the five a side court which the kids love and smoking facility, all lacking in the East.

| There will be some games next year, ie. Toulouse, where I can see threequarters of the stand in use.
Sign of the times. When the Working Class of the Town are no longer interested in watching RL in this Town. Whilst the older generation succumb to illness with no-one to replace them.
The club are cutting their cloth accordingly, and rightly so.
The game will be semi-pro again within 10 years, with maybe the "Big 4" still full time with a Premier Sports contact or Sky "Streaming only" service.
Cheers Nige.
