UTF. Forthcoming games are massive, but those against Batley and Fev especially so.

As has been said previously, May is a massive month for us, if Haven can turn over Fev and we can go unbeaten we will be in a really strong position within the top 4. Saying that our defence needs a real shake up, we cannot carry on shipping points like we are and against teams that are at the bottom of the table.

We need to play jonno in the halves without doubt he might just tighten up the defense on that side put murrell to 13. The lad is down on confidence at the moment and its showing. He was our most exciting player last season with the ball in hand by a mile and to push him out of position is affecting out play. Tyrer and Manu scored a shed load of tries off him last season hope RM sees this before its too late UTFAX

Totally agree with dazzler we need jonno firing on all cylinders he is by far our most dangerous and exciting player the kid has been pushed out a bit i think put him in the halves for a month or so to get up to scratch we will benefit im sure. Dont know if Richard likes him or not but he does need to be played in position we may just start to play if he is there. We can only live in hope .

I don’t agree re Johnno. He can be devastating at times but that is when we are dominant up front, getting quick plays and off-loads in that put him away. In the games he has played so far he hasn’t been that creative, maybe playing on the right doesn’t play to his strengths, but you are not going to swap Moore over there when he’s playing well on the left and is a left footer kicker.

He is not as good an organiser as Murrell and Moore and has no long kicking game meaning all the pressure is on the other half back. I dare say that had Murrell played V Leigh the other month we could have won with the possession we had on their line. Plus when he came back into the team and Johnno was out we won the next 3.

Having said that with the grounds hardening now, he might come into his own again like last year, but we still need to more dominant going forward to create the space for him and that isn’t happening at the moment.

Nobody on the pitch backs up as well as BJ. If he works on his distribution and kicking he will be great and needs the chance.

Yes but as Gizempo says our forwards aren't getting up the same as last year, if we can build the forward pressure up then gaps will come but I guess that we are actually scoring points we are just conceding far too many at the moment.

Three horse race for that 4th spot for me and things will be a lot clearer this month as we play both Batley and Fev.
I would have fancied a possible upset if Fev had been going up there on a dreadful Wednesday night but I think they will be well prepared for the Saturday and be back in 4th spot come Saturday evening.

Dave it looks like I could be wrong again, I've looked at the remaining fixtures that Fax , Fev, and Batley have left, and I think Fax are nailed on for 4th spot unless you do a Hari Kari job.

I don't know you Italians don't half change your minds a lot. For once I hope one of your predictions comes true and we get that 4th spot. Home games against Leeds and Huddersfield will do nicely for the club coffers etc.
