| I thought your team did you proud tonight. They played with spirit for the full 80 minutes. Your fans supported the team well. Good luck next season.

| Didn't carry on last week's form into tonight. Panicked in attack, similar to the Sheffield 8's game.
Match ball sponsored by Imperial Leather.

Seconded. Made life very difficult for us again. Good luck for your final match and next year.

| Tried hard but did not look like we would win it tonight coughed the ball up while trying to force the pass always chasing the game, great second try though but have to say Wakey deserved to win they played it safe at times and surprisingly their defence was pretty good, it was your typical SL v Championship at home game.
Great support tonight but don't like being in that side terracing prefer to go in the end of their ground.

| You cant win games against SL teams while making so many mistakes and as above I thought that was up there with our performances against Sheffield away. At 6-6 though if the ball sits up for Manning then it might be a different story. The unforced errors that we made last night were a killer and if we had even performed anywhere near what we did last week that game would have been a lot closer.
All that said again we competed well at times against a team that has been peeing nearly 2m up against a wall year on year with nothing to show for it so in that sense we have done ok. We now know the level we need to aim for next season and RM has probably learnt a lot in these games on where the team needs to be improved and for the most part I think he has already plugged those gaps so our squad should be a lot stronger next season and we will be able to afford a couple of injuries unlike this season. Big game next week though and should be a good one with both teams still having plenty to play for.

| Agree with Greg, I reckon the biggest thing to come out of this is the information RM will have picked up and can use for moving us forward next season.
Looking at the Bulls game I think it will be tough but we can win it, same as yesterday really, we've got to respect our possession and the points will come, cough it up on the first tackle and you're in trouble as it usually means you've given the opposition the ball in your own end.

| Matty Ashurst introduced in the 24th minute was Wakefield 41th player this season .
Wish we had that luxury.
We have played with a limited squad, limited budget and a low fan base.
The Board got the right man, backed him, he brought in the right men and the players responded.
So proud of every thing we have achieved this season.
O'h I have to say to that bloke (JTBF) who rubbished Ben Heaton on this forum, did you see that tackle he did early on in the second half caught him and pushed him into touch.
All off them, thank you for a great season.

| Of course it made me smile....its a thread about me!
Interesting that the author believe the Photocopier is an alias used by Guuterfax? The Photocopier, like the Cranewife serves no purpose other than to copy and paste random posts to random sites in an attempt to draw fire from moderators.....this doesn't sound like anything that Gutters would do because it doesn't involve slagging off the club, its owner of it's idiot staff.

I think that if we had used 41 players we would not have ended up in the playoffs and played the good rugby we have been lucky enough to see this year. Saying that a couple more players would have helped us out I'm sure.

| Saying that it looks like we used 34 players. Clement Boyer, 1 game ? Guess he didn't like the food or the weather.

Still in the squad. Needs a pre-season under his belt.

| On this game.
Fair play to Wakey, best team on the night, looked more dangerous in attack with solid defence.
On the season agree with GFB and NB.
I thought Clement Boyer was all signed up with his French side for next season even before he came on loan, possibly why he hasn't featured much because we had enough available from those that will be.

I don't believe Ive ever used the words Ben Heaton and rubbish in the same sentence? he did have a poor game against Salford, and did seem to dip off after mid season, very pleased with Bens progress this season, and the way he has come back from the Salford game shows some real character, just what we need.
I didn't see the tackle. but I can well believe it, he's one tough hombre. And im looking forward to him strutting his stuff in the hell hole that is Odsal. Lets finish the Qualifiers off as we did the regular season. Great effort from all of them this year, proud to be a Fax fan and proud of the lads and Coaches.
Disappointing we didn't take a SL scalp, but that's not the be all and end all, we'll be better for the experience, we know the levels required now and I reckon next season we'll take a scalp and have a great year, if this seasons improvement is anything to go by.
