Hope they are ok. Don't want to see any club go bust.

It looks like HM Revenue are after money. They do this allot with companies to make them pay up. They go after easy targets but leave all the multimillion pound companies alone. I think all our clubs one or another have been here with HMR breathing down our necks . Im sure Fev will be OK and will sort it out.

So we are being wound up 8th dec yet announce cas game 28th dec, continue to work on stands n sell season tickets n merchandise, have gt 2 aussies comin next couple of weeks n new signings announced next week according to local paper

We are hardly acting like a club with threat of being wound up hanging over them

Also if you look at hmrc site there are companies that shouldve been wound up weeks ago but are still trading

You don't get a winding up order for a slight oversight. There will have been plenty of communication, demands, non-payments and all that guff. The £450k comes in stages so perhaps they may apply for early release of funds.

You'll be ok Fev. The RL family will come together to help you out. They have a good, consistent track record of doing this!

Been told it will be sorted so thankfully no great panic The thing I like to no is why wasn't it paid by the 2 who have left who kept telling us we were the richest club in the championship Looks like they preferred to give certain players silly contracts instead of paying bills which should be priority

Halifax Bank, Andy Hornby was constantly saying it well was a well financed bank, so you will always having some pedalling you a story of sorts.

Not really a large amount and probably a lot less than some SL clubs owe. Just another problem arrived from the fallout with flip flop and Poskitt. There's tonnes of stuff that those two were supposed to have paid and haven't. Good job we got out when we did. No doubt this bill would have been paid on time if it weren't for the other stuff the club knew nowt about.

I guess it highlights the problems behind the scenes if someone who is tasked with bringing sponsorship to the club is also the person who they expect to pay the bills.

Think the CEO's job was to do more than bring sponsorship in. We have Paul Taylor for that job and he's good at it. There were deals that Poskitt made that the club never paid for, all became apparent when they let the club. The "Free" coaches along with the "free" flags that Flip Flop laid on for the Leigh cup game is just on example of an unpaid Bill.
