Just joined Dewsbury (along with Josh Barlow and Byron Smith).

Was great for us in his first year, then looked to lose interest.
Probably stating the obvious, but if we replace him with a good player then this is good news, if not then its a shame hes gone!

Odd time to announce it isn't it, ahead of our game against Dewsbury this weekend? Cant understand why all sides don't keep the new signings under wraps until the end of the season.

On Fieldhouse, is he fit for the weekend? Maybe he has played his last game for fax due to injury hence the announcement?

He reckoned that he would be out for 4-6 weeks, I think. Have Fax announced it? I thought the announcement came from Dewsbury and, as you say, it may be because he has played his last game for us.

Gutted with this news. One of my favourite players and solid at the back in my opinion. I hope we have some good signings lined up because with him and fieldhouse gone we have lost alot of pace in our side.

What was Harrison thinking? then again he did struggle to coach the best out of players hence why some players like Fieldhouse seem to have gone sidewards under him.

I wish him all the best and hope he starts to realise his full potential soon. I think he's a very talented player, however you can have all the skills in the world but if your lacking a bit of explosive pace and that killer 'edge' you probably will just stay at a certain level. He probably feels like most of us in that it's been 18 months wasted and we all need to start afresh, kick on and start enjoying the game again.

On a seperate note I'll be delighted if we secure the services of Miles Greenwood again. Before he got injured he was simply brilliant at FB and it was no mean feat to keep the number 1 jersey from Shad. It would be great to see him back at the Shay.

Actually I think KH did a good job of coaching the best out of players, hardly anybody improved under him.

I actually think if Barlow had stayed we might have won a few more games but after Fev away Rhino decided he was done, poor man management if you ask me, get shut of one of your best players.

His methods were just so strange half the time. I mean take Ben Heaton as an example, last season he could do no wrong and would be in the team week in and week out and it were tyrer, Worrincy, and Fieldhouse who would be drop after any little mistake and then this season simply could not get a look in even when it became clear Harrison was struggling to coach Cowling.

Very sorry to see him go.
I am led to believe that before the start of each season Karl has been allowed to sign all the players he wanted.
I am also led to believe that he had as big a budget as the other two teams.
What I find strange is that the board did not question why he discarded many of these players at the end of each season.
A couple of seasons ago I had a sparring match against Gregg Florimo's Boots about Penky.
I said that Karl told me that "anyone who doesn't want to play for Halifax can **** off"
Gregg thought that was not the case and there was other reasons.
Karl did say that, but, now I think Penky didn't not want to play for Halifax, he didn't want to play for?
Gregg I think you were right.

Sad to see Fieldhouse go but Miles Greenwood signing is more than welcomed. Great player when he was at the club before. Lets just hope that he doesn't flop returning to an old club.

I also know of another excellent signing we have made but i'll keep that under wraps for now. Probably the biggest signing we will make all winter in my opinion.
