| We've signed Luke Adamson till the end of the season. Back rower was let go from Salford when they had money troubles.
Has been playing rugby union.
Played under Harrison when he was at Salford.

| Good signing and yes he is a big aggressive lad with a fair amount of skill and plenty on SL experience he should make a big impact.
It also shows the commitment of the BOD again moving quickly to cover for the injuries.

We've got best loose forward in league limping around playing out of position covering hooker, scrum half and stand off and you think Manning, Robinson, Barlow, Tonks, Ambler, Casey and Ashall need more cover as we've got Divorty, Morrisson and Braceck out?
I would rather we find a replacement for Penky from last season and Black, Beswick & Jones from the season before. 4 creative players have left for good to be replaced by 1 who is now barely fit

| Luke was a guest in the banqueting suite today along with his parents. They were really impressed by Halifax and it's great that the club can attract players of his calibre. He spoke really well and seemed excited at the prospect of playing for Halifax. Karl Harrison gave him his debut at Salford when he was in charge and is chuffed to bits to get him on board. He can play a number of positions and looks in really good shape. I am sure he will do well for us and its great to sign a new player as it certainly gives the fans a boost.

yer he came across really well and it is a good lift for us as you say Pete, well done BOD although I agree with others we need a hooker and a centre.

| Its OK saying we need a hooker and Centre but it depends who is available and at what price. Craig Cook is on trial at the club and no doubt way out of fitness needed. But please tell me which other hooker the club could realistically get? From memory I believe Luke can also play centre so maybe he will play there depending. The sad thing is that right now the British game doesnt really have many good Hookers around or ball players. Whilst its true we do need in our opinions better quality ball players, we also need the right one and at a decent price. The board have once again done their bit. But do we as fans do ours? Under 1500 today is not very good. OK it was cold and mothers day. But its OK to criticize the club but what about our fellow fans who for whatever reason have stopped coming.

| Luke is a really top bloke, unfortunately I don't think the reason we let him go was all down to money. Hes just not good enough for SL, he will tackle all day for you and will do a full 80 but he is lacking in attack. He won't play centre for you as he just hasn't got it in his locker, I don't think I saw him pass the ball once at Salford. Hes not the biggest second row but he has a big heart and like I said will tackle all day long for you and run straight. Nothing flash but a workman and every team needs a few.

| If a quality player becomes available then I would rather have him in our side than playing against us so again well done the Fax management for snapping him up.
Luke is a quality player and wanted to come to Halifax, another big plus.
Whenever I have seen him play he aways gives 110%.
It's not just about him as an individual either, people of his quality tend to raise the standards across the club.
We have aquired Luke Ambler, Scott Murrell. Andy Brachek and now Luke Adamson all with SL experience and want to be here.
In addtion we have held onto Sam, brought in Tonka and in Dane Manning, Gary Divorty and Robbo we have some of the best props and second rowers outside SL, the bar is going up guys.
If and when the right quality comes available in other positions and they fit in with our buget and they want to come to Fax then the BOD will do their best to get them here.
It's slowly happening. Keep the faith.

Will fit in with our centres perfectly then. Pattos fantastic break and then beating of fullback only to try to pass with line at mercy a true top comedy moment of the season so far. Bowman is excepted who i thought went ok yesterday, but still concerns over his defence.
