Now we've all calmed down after the Bulls fiasco, do we think it's time for an RFL statement on their involvement in the Bulls situation, how the situation was missed by the extensive licence application review and how this was allowed to happen again after that shining light of super league, crusaders, also went pop?

Or is it time for an enquiry into the whole sorry licencing situation from day one of its inception?

I think both to be fair, Lewis and wood need to explain!

I think that they will be distancing themselves from this as much as possible and let Bradford deal with their own .

there should be an enquiry over it all but RFL will just carry on as if nothing wrong happened.

How does the RFL work? Can Fat Controller be sacked? Who can sack him?
I'm at a loss to see how this is all run (apart from badly that is).

I read on twitter the other day, may have been Richard De la rivere who tweeted it, that a vote of no confidence was mooted by the superleague clubs a few years back but nothing ever came of it.

Worrying thing is the RFL were nominated for Governing Body of the Year in some recent sports awards

I was going to say, surely club chairmen have some responsibility here? Its obvious the RFL is either rotten to the core or just totally incompetent to become implicitly involved in the embarrassments of late!

I really do feel it's incompetence more than anything and, if so, the clubs' chairmen can surely raise issue.

The RFL can't bully all the clubs if they are all against them.

Or maybe the chairmen fear an even worse replacement, cough, cough, hetherington?

It was said for a long time that Chris Hamilton was the man expected to eventually take over the reins from Fat Nige, wether thats still the case i don't know, his record at Oldham is shall we say, bumpy?

I e-mailed Westminsters All Party Rugby League Committee yesterday asking these same questions I recieved an answer this morning to say they had been inundated with people contacting them. All of the e-mails were being forwarded to the next meeting.

As soon as there's any good news about Rugby League we'll hear from the Teflon Twins. Until that time - they're "busy".

Its ok saying Chairman have a responsibility but there are probably a lot of clubs on the edge - and sometimes its better the devil you know ...

Like when they were asked to vote on increasing SL to include 2 more teams who in the right mind would of voted for that - ok Lads lets let 2 more teams in but your share of the pot will go down ---- All in favour

You miss one important - probably the most important - group, the supporters. Sadly there doesnt seem to be a strong supporters' organisation with enough balls to ask the questions and have any influence in asking the questions.

I dont like to draw comparions between football and rugby because there is plenty wrong with football. But the Football Supporters Federation are a influential organisation with its Chair, Malcolm Clarke, sitting on the National Council of the Football Association.

Rugby League...a fantastic sport, ruined by the idiots who run it at the top.

Nigel wood, Steve Ferres, Rod Finlay and others at the RFL knew and were involved in the Crusaders Fiasco from atleast 2009. Was there any investigation of the mismanagement and money still owed to people from over 4 years ago? No and Woody just said its not our problem- despite telling the players personally they would be paid in 2010. The RFL and big Nige knew about Bradfords problems during the licence farce- but didnt want to lose glamour club Bradford so kept them in hoping things would be OK. Couple months later the Bulls run to big Nige and the RFL buy the lease of Odsal. Then now the Bull mania turns in to Bullcrap mania as the RFL go silent and refuse to answer any questions. Talk about a joke and the lies and deceit will not stop here. Instead they will just threaten the likes of Fev, Fax etc to keep quiet or else you will have NO chance instead of little chance of SL place next time.
