| that Fax are set for Super League in 2012 - the timing of Calland's departure is just too much of concidence. 'Fax for Super League in 2012, Noble at helm' would be a great headline for the club. I reckon the clubs have been informed of the decision, Calland has been informed that Nobby will be taking charge next season, and he's decided to walk awa now as opposed to being deposed after the final game of the season. It just makes too much sense.

Everyone is in the dark over this one. Nothing from the club. I hope you are right about the SL thing. But who knows?

| The timing is just too bizarre for this to be a decision born out of Calland's relatively poor league record this season. Fax should make the play-offs and proved last Sunday they will be a match for anyone in the knock-out stages, with another Grand Final appearance a possibility. Unless he's committed some act of misconduct and the club have decided to denote his departure as being by 'mutual consent' as a goodwill gesture, then you're headed for SL in the coming week.

| I would tend to agree with the timing of the announcement but we've heard nothing from the club and you never know with Halifax it could just be another daft move. Still it makes a lot of sense and to stir the pot further Harlequins have lost two of their best players for next season. I doubt the RFL are ready to give up on the London idea but who knows?

| I think it is more likely to be disciplinary but there is a flicker of hope. Will probo be one of the most negative weeks the club has had if we dont get a franchise on Tuesday.

| Its very possible that there won't be a Harlequins club to take their place in SL next season. They must be struggling financially given the decision to appoint a 33 year old novice as coach before the current season began, and their recent recruitment would suggest they aren't exactly flush. If their current backers have informed the RL that they intend to pull the plug at the end of the season due to mounting and insurmountable debts, then there'll be a spot in SL going spare. I don't believe the RL would boot them out of SL, but I don't believe they would bankroll them to financial security either.

| If Harrison were to leave and join Halifax in SL for 2012, I'd wish him well and even send him a thank you card. If Harrison were to leave and join Fax this season, on the back of a failed SL bid, I'd be chuffing amazed.

I think even with a failed superleague bid Halifax would still be an attractive prospect.

I think he'd want to get Batley to the GF first and he has every chance of making that happen. They didn't look too bad a side on Thursday.

I think you are right. I think he would like to see a job to the conclusion.
But who knows for next year. I suppose Tuesday will have a bearing on things
