As stated in the title.
www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/ ... +CRUSADERS
There you go, Court date is set for 10.30 on the 10th of november. HMRC are looking to wind the company up. That could mean 2 Champioonship teams up to SL. Alternatively it could mean the RFL bail them out or they let toulouse in regardless. I would hope the latter is a definate NO as clearly the Expansion aint working.

| Being that the current Super League Clubs agreement is for 11 "Traditional" Clubs and 3 "Development" they'd need to change that or it'd pretty much guarantee Toulouse a place

| My guess is that the RFL has pumped too much money into Crusaders and will continue to bail them out.
Either that, or rather than drop Wakey, let Crusaders go bust - promote Widnes and have no-one drop out of SL.

They can't do that now, They have not given any Championship club enough time to prepare/Get the players to compete next year, It would be like taking a team to play Australia every week, total inhialation week in week out. It would not benefit any club at this stage without prep time.
If they did promote someone early then surely it would effect the rest of the lower leagues with Keighley being allowed back up, Same as leigh last year, and so on down the leagues. Potentially it could help the heartland Clubs.

| if and it is a massive IF the Welshies go out of business, unless the RFL puts too much money into a NL side then it would be suicide at this point! or would it
They shoud run one down for the coming season, with time then to put one NL1 team keep all the SL clubs or put two NL 1 teams up.
My gut feeling in relalistic chances of happening is.......
1) RFL save the welshies
2) If not, run with one club down
3) NL1 clubs ask do they wnat to submit and enter into 2011 comp, with supprt from RFL (Fax to say no, Wid to say yes!)
4) Widnes to win the S/L bid, and all current Sl teams remain
4a) if Wid go in to 2011 comp, no further promotions in 2012 for NL1 clubs
5) Widnes and Fax win S/L bids, one S/L club drops down
6) Toulouse - just not gonner happen

It should be 5) Widnes and Fax win S/L bids for the next 3 years.

| Wasn't if announced that it will definitely be a 14 team Super League come the next round of franchises?
Also, even if they just swapped Widnes for a bust Crusaders, surely we're still getting pitted against a potentally stadium-less Cas and Wakey.
They can't keep it at 13 because that's hardly giving anyone a positive message is it. That's basically saying, all Championship clubs are Sh*tter than a bust team.
There's still 6-8 months before things are announced. Plenty of time to change the rules a number of times though, fear not.

| Im have no doubt that Mr Creosote will not back down from his gargantuan cretinous ideaology, not until he has successfully bankrupted the game and drove a steak through its heart, hes a buffoon im telling you, and hes an even bigger buffoon than people realise, has anyone ever stood up to him without fear of being eaten like a whales lunch. This constant HMRC and RFL re-fueling of failing enterprises will not end anytime soon, the mans a fool.
Im sure i saw figures published about what Crusaders needed to break even last year, but the RFL sought to encourage them to give away tickets and sign high profile ex Internationals, its a complete folly. London, Catalan, Crusaders and the new ones, will always struggle to make money and the fans will need to be related to Rothchilds in order to afford to watch them play away. The mans dreaming. The Sport aint big enough for this kind of restructuring.

I know its sounds harsh but this is one club that I would like to see disappear, they add nothing to our game only the 'being in Wales' so the game is not just in England bit, so what? who cares in Wales? Not many.
Plus they are in SL by default, the original club got in purely by being in Wales and this is a new club now based in Wrexham not the original one that was based in South Wales. Remember they got allowed in last year through the back door to save the Fat Controllers face, look what we and the rest of the Championship clubs have to do to get into SL through this stupid Licencing system!!!!
Nah good riddance I say.
But you can bet that the RFL will do their damnest to save them saying it is in the interests of the game etc...
I would love to do a Freedom of Information on the RFL and see where all the money from the Grand Finals goes????
We have heard it all before, funny how they let the original Rochdale Hornets club die so they had to rise as a new club technically now called Hornets RL. Sames goes for Whitehaen they nearly died this summer I could go on.

| my post was in refence to the coming season then moving on to 2012
if and its a big IF the welshies go bust, what do u do for 2011
Run with 13 or look to add another club from NL1, personally i cannot see any other team than Widnes
A) Having enough money (proving their back has it) to even contemplate playin in S/L in 2011
b) being so desperate they would consider doing it
Any NL club would be in the same poistion, 99% of their squad are not S/L unless they would be in S/L now, our best player has gone to the bulls, and is not gaunteed a starting place!
It would take a huge amount of cash to jump from NL to Sl at this late stage (its not even sure it will happen yet!)
What long term damage would it do, to both support and finance
News just in, Aston has said Sheff are ready, they will do it!

| I see.
They should just run with 13 teams for 2011 and not force strain on another team for no reason. Even Widnes at a guess will have sponsors etc already for next season which will be set at a Championship price and won't be able to get the necessary finacial backing at such short notice. Widnes will be fully in place to get the 2012 spot and have probably got everything set for then, it doesn't help them to be in it next year presumably
