Power affects people in different ways.

This forum has basically turned into a PR vehicle for the club and a hangout for numb nut Town fans. You cant really have a debate when any thread that goes against the club is usually locked. Constructive criticism can be good but only if people know it exists. The rent discussions getting locked i thought was a bit harsh especially after the article appeared in the courier and was in the public domain anyway. Not that i am having a go at the moderators.

Are you lot for real? Tortured Soul stops this site from becoming a Halifax Town trolling site. Do you want every post littered with crap that they post? One of their dead brains ran amok last night posting drivel on here, including the Mick Scott thread . Unfortunately the site attracts wendyball fans with a mental age of 5 and therefore has to be moderated.

TS keeps this site controlled and I for one am grateful for that.

If you have a beef with TS why not PM him directly instead of trying to start a witch hunt on here. This is a good site - if you don't like it don't use it

I do agree that sometimes the moderators seemingly step in because it appears they are simply bored of a thread or dont like them for personal reasons, then sometimes when topics move torwards slander and defamation they stand by and watch when they could and maybe should sometimes intervene earlier, its a no win situation sometimes, and its a busy forum

BUT.......

They dont do a bad job to be honest and i dont think its as easy as some posters think, its a public forum and fine line is trodden from time to time. Posters and mods are only human.

Keep going Mods, better the devil ya know i reckon Its good to have the site.

all sites need mods.

He always goes underground after a defeat. I expect a re-surface on Monday/Tuesday when he's had time to compose himself

Thankless Task being a Mod-can never please everybody! For what its worth TS and others do a good job on here. I do not want to read what some waste of space Bitter Soccer fan has to say. Banter is OK-like with our friends from Widnes, Barrow, Haven, Leigh etc. But some lowlifes from the Soccer section are just on here to cause problems. Certain posts/Threads need to be locked or deleted. Keep up the good work Mods.

Tortured Soul Carry on mate! Nothing wrong with a debate and the odd disagreement as that is the whole point of forums but rightly there have been some half wits on here who were correctly removed IMO!
