Thanks for the nice comments posted and sent direct, well most were nice! I am delighted to be back although I never really went far away. The buckets are at present being used to collect the water coming through the roof of my garage – luckily I have a good insurance policy. Although I may dry them out and use them again in the future.

Those that know me will know my view is that the Clubs determining factor for security in the future, Super League ambition and my health is we need to keep increasing the “annual Income” in the way the present Board have and abide by the Micawber Principal of

"Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen pounds nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery."

This is the first time I have been with the club where “my investment” as Mr Clay puts it, is looking to the future and not the past, which shows what a great job the guys have done in the recent past. I was delighted to help out with recruiting Stanley and I am looking forward to seeing him play under the best head Coach and coaching team in the league. Mind you the rest of the squad are hot too and I sure Martin will always be looking for opportunities.

The only downside of the position is that I can’t really post my views on here now, because as a Board we need one voice, so whilst I may keep the odds updated, I will not post that often.

I am looking forward to next season more than Christmas

Glad you saw my tongue firmly in my cheek. Judging by the latest report I read on SL club losses, you don't want to be in there surely. Stay down here with the Leythers, you will lose less money.

On a serious note it is a good thing you can come back to the club when it is in such a good shape thanks to the good work of Messrs Clay, Riley, Powell et al. Hope even more good work can be achieved with you and Mr Croad on board.
