Hypothetically speaking (very) which would you take given the option

A return to Thrum Hall all nicely painted and restored or a return to Super League?

This is a case of Heart v Head - please don't think about it too hard!

God the off season is dull!

[iNew option added. Hope you don't mind. TS[/i

Thrum Hall, especially as I believe that the Championship is a very very competative league with some very good sides playing open attractive rugby, rather than the stick it up your jumper type played by some SL sides

It depends what squad we had for SL. If we were competitive - Super League every time.

Thrum Hall was great and i always think fondly of it when in discussion, mainly due to the history and the atmosphere but in truth it was a dump but it was our dump..............therefore i choose super dooper land icon_biggrin.gif

SL is not the be all and end all. I also hionestly feel we are not ready yet off field for SL or even on it with no Academy running bringing through quality replacements.
Thrum Hall was more than our home ground and was torn from us by that Fat Controller Woods who helped get us in to the mess in the first place. CEO should have known we were spending past our budgets etc. Thrum Hall was a unique place that just needed a bit of work. Fax at Thrum hall was a place that brought often the whole town together whilst Fax at The Shay has for various reasons has seen problems and many people walking away from the club. Thrum Hall was our ground that had charactor thats missing from these modern Grounds. Thrum Hall needed a couple of million spending on it to get it to near modern Standards but Fax would likely never have that money.
Did we ever find out what actually happened to the money from the sale of Thrum Hall? Their were rumours that we was supposed to get a couple of million from the sale and that would be spent to pay debts and then 500,000 spent on the Shay-which it never was!

Some good points but we have to move forward. As for the money from Thrum Hall i believe it was all consumed by debt but im not sure of the official stance on this....can anybody enlighten us please ?
