I don't do predictions but, as Barrow are being presented with the Minor Premiers (stupid expression!) trophy, it would be really nice to p**s on their bonfire.

I have a good feeling but am wavering because of recent dip. Unless the wife hurries up and gives birth I'm under orders that I can't attend the match!!!

I have very mixed feelings about this game.

If I was given a choice of whom Widnes would meet in the Grand Final - should we get there - I'd like it to be Halifax. I think the atmosphere would be better between our two clubs and I quite like Halifax anyway.

From a Widnes point of view though, I don't fancy an away trip to Barrow and I doubt we'd win it. So a Barrow win may be preferable for us. Yes we'd be up against it at the Shay, but we just haven't won at Craven Park yet and I can't see that changing.


On recent form and home advantage I think Barrow will win.
