As Rowley says every team in the division would love Penky in their team. Good timing with his coments ahead of Sundays big game. Always loved Rowley when he played for us.

Rowley trying to play "Fergie's" mind games there. Slap on the wrist for the Courier for giving him the opportunity. That said - what else can he do because he knows his team are in for a hiding on Sunday. This is all he's got to try and counteract a Fax onslaught.

dont know about anyone else but i am starting to get really nervous about the lack of news coming out of our club about signing up these players.

Just because nothing been announced it doesn't mean people haven't signed.

Exactly! If player signings were announced, then clubs might back off chasing them. Let them waste their time in tryin to tap up players who have already committed.

Last season was the same. We didn't hear about signings until after we'd heard that some had absolutely, definitely, without a doubt, signed for other clubs!

He blames Nigel Wood for trying to shaft him.

IIRC, his comments were aimed at the coaching setup, the exact comment being "I have learned more in the time I have been at Huddersfield than in all the years I was at Halifax"

i'm not saying we wont sign these players up for next season i'm saying its nerveracking waiting for some news.

Joking aside I was pretty amazed we'd signed Beswick and Gleeson last season and don't remember either of those names doing the rumour mill. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I don't think you realise that Penky is a Leigh lad, regularly attends matches and his Dad is a sponsor at the club. Wouldn't surprise me if he signed for us in the near future.

I think we all know that Penky is a Leigh lad ,we ought to do he came through our Acadamy.We all know his dad too as he comes along to watch Penky play even when Leigh are at home. It will also be a waste of the Fax shirts his dad bought a few weeks since.

Leigh are a club going backwards so why would Penky go there? They also apparently have little money and no backer like Widnes do for example. Penky would go to SL or Widnes or Barrow if he left Fax as they have money.
