| Oh dear. Things are so bad in Bull-Land that they'd prefer to discuss our logo rather than concentrate on the total and utter garbage that they're having to watch week in week out. Can't blame them really is suppose.

| There are some well argued points, some not so well. At least they are talking about it, and the club, which is better than nothing. I sorely miss the humiliation of bradford fans on here, it doesn't seem justified to do it these days with our lack of leverage.
It is a sign though that they are looking down, rather than up.

| On a serious note though. If their form picks up so will the crowds, it's swings and roundabouts.
I have no doubt that if Fax have a sustained run of success possibly getting back into SL our crowds would start to return also. RL is part of our northern culture.
The thing is with the likes of Quins and Celtic Crusaders if they had a few bad years I seriously doubt that they would continue to exist. Not having a pop, just a calculated observation.

| Smut the cat from the roof at TH was based a genuine cat called smut that hung around the pavillion for a while when we were being particularly successful many many years ago, and was adopted by the staff, it is believed that the cat under the pitch when it died so it's very much a historical choice and with the new vicious smut is probably going to be a very could marketing tool, as long as the courier bit that says it will replace the crest is just a typo I'm all for it.

Yes - but we'll have to strip their skulls of the metal Woolly Bully chips they had inserted by Mr Caisley. Our club doctor will then perform a short Symbiotic Psychosis test to make sure they're fit to return to the Shay Stadium.

| I made sure I was on hand to greet my B*ll Fan neighbours on their return from Odsal yesterday, but I didn't expect them home at 4.30.
Apparently they left the game after 65 minutes. To their credit though, their car is still a shrine to Bullman and his cronies....but for how long?
Apparently you can tell they are having a poor time of it, as there are no longer any queues for the bouncy castles!.
I did point them in the direction of the Shay on Thursday night, but then again they know exactly where it is!!

| yet even more bad news for the Bulls, only (i know.. only!) 14,554 there yesterday for the derby match against Leeds, about 8-10k down on what they used to get for that game. Remember when they made a big deal about them setting the SL record during these games in the past....

| didnt see that one, but thought Terry Albert called the "knock on" by JJB correct, it touched his hand, Maguire stopped the ball from hitting the ground, therefore it's a knock on. God knows what Stevo was on about (for a change!)

I agree. I called it as it happened, and then had an argument with my old boy about it.
I was referring to when Webb was stood in the Bulls line at a Leeds ptb, and then backed up the break to give the final pass to Burrow to score. The try was ruled out because Webb was offside at the ptb and made no attempt to get onside before his team-mates passed him. I'm not sure on the ruling for this.

Webb does this a lot, he follows the plays right up the middle waiting for a break (well Tony Rea pointed this out on Boots n All last year) He's very effective at it. Shaun Edwards made a career of it! even when there used to be a rule that the attacking side had to be 5m behind the play the ball.

Keith Senior is an adept at it. Although, KS usually stands next to the markers and not in the defensive line.

Ironic then that Keith Senior was supporting that play but gave up when he say Webb was in support, if Senior had taken the pass the try would have stood.

From the rule book
Retire at play-
(g) players of the side not in possession other than
the-ball the player taking part in the play-the-ball and the
acting half back are out of play if they fail to retire
ten (10) metres from the point at which the ball is
played or to their own goal lines. Players of the
side in possession other than the player taking
part in the play-the-ball and the acting halfback
must retire behind their players involved in the
play-the-ball or to their own goal line.
(h) having retired the distance prescribed in the
preceding paragraph no player of the team not in
possession may advance until the ball has
cleared the ruck. A player who is out of play may
again take part in the game when the advantage
gained by not retiring has been lost.
“Out of Play” as 3. Players who are out of play at a play-the-ball (Section 11), a opposed to “off side” scrum (Section 12), a kick off or drop-out (Section 8 ) a penalty kick (Section 13) or a free kick (Section 13) are not
put “on side” in the manner described in para 3 above. (See
appropriate Sections).
