My feelings towards the play off series is completely askew from previous years. Now we've nailed 2nd spot and the really important 2nd spot/450k, I'm nowhere near as anxious about Sunday. It almost feels like the task has been achieved... This is just a bonus. Yes of course I'd like us to win, especially as it's fax.... but after the season we've had I won't need antidepressants if we lose.

I can understand that feeling whereas we are probably the exact opposite after our brain fart implosion.

For me our season has been as close to a disaster as is possible in sporting terms. Other teams have crumbled around us and we limped to 3rd when the reality is we should have finished comfortably in 2nd. 3pts behind Fev after some laughable defeats although i guess Fev can say the same really, they hammered us with what must have been close to their best performance of the season then proceed to nearly throw it all away in their next two games.

To be honest i would rather be playing Leigh because there would be no pressure on us where I think because we feel we are closer to Fev it does add that extra pressure and we have not performed well under pressure this season.

This. The Fax/Fev game was arguably the most crucial game in our (Fev)'s recent history, and it came at a time when we are some way off our standard of previous seasons (especially defensively) and distinctly vulnerable. It's funny how things go, topping the league four years on the trot and not really getting much tangible reward, yet in one of the most turbulent seasons you could imagine we have been pretty ordinary all the way through and yet we've managed to secure a huge prize.

I was nervous for days before the Fax game, and again the Keighley one last weekend, but if we do anything on Sunday or later in the play-offs it's just a bonus as far as I'm concerned. We've got our club back, a consolidating season next year will be fine by me too. It won't be a bad thing for expectations to be lowered for us, and we've seen the last of some of the horrible bombastic statements we were putting out earlier this season, which had nothing to do with the Fev I grew up with.

Charlie is predicting a Fev win on Sunday , Fev 28 v Fax 22 should be another cracker of a game , this result will make it a home game for Fax the week after and I WILL be there to cheer Fax on , and meet up with a few familiar faces .

How we have finished 2nd I will never know, weve been utter shiiiite in half the games most frustrating season iv ever seen. The pressure is off now weve won the coin see if they can play any better

Bad season for you guys at times but as the 3 games between us this season including the pre friendly and lastly the Shay encounter showed we were and are still third best so no arguments whatsoever from me mate.

I will be there hoping but expect another Fev win by some margin.

If we do win I don't think it will be by a lot

As has been said I would like to get to the GF but if not it will be no great lose the main target has been achieved and it should help to solve some of the problems that was left by the 2 men who have gone As long as it's a good game and the atmosphere is great that will do for me
