| Too much for me to put on here but reading it seems that his condition of verbal diahrea has not been fixed.
Gareth carvel was going to them but now Cas this year, them next year.
A marque signing from Huddersfield.
Behind the scenes change of ownership with directors being replaced.
Basically all sorts of promises.
A poor Mans Koucash if I ever heard one.

| Apparently Carvell agreed terms but "everyone agreed that it was best he went to Cas". The man talks more than anyone I have ever heard. He aint going next year either, that's another Naboo pearl.

| From Fev's Forum:
These are the official tweets from @roversradio who were present at the news conference in the order they were posted
Press conference - Crossley signed for another club for nest year (we knew that) and Ben Hellewell also leaving, Tommy decided to join Fax, Roache , Sunley and chisolm shipped out, Hay didn't want them.
Lockwood has signed til 2017; Sharp signed to 2017. Kain , Hardman, to 2016 Dale, spears, cording to 2016, Ellis will not be leaving the club, James negoicating new contract bossy sign until 2016
Looking to sign Kyle trout permanently, Jason Crookes will get a years contract. Blackmore already signed. Liam Kent looking for two more yr Expect Jay Pitts to be a permanent player from next season.
Are you after a senior figure to lead the team? FN: strategy to bring young British talent in from SL, but we need some experience, Experienced players are hard to get hold of, did look at Michael Monaghan, playing & to be part of coaching team offer, but fell through
What abt offer to hudds for their marquee players? FN: enquired abt those hudds players. Hudds came back and told players were not available, there will be one marquee signing coming across though from Huddersfield announced within next four weeks
Considering Featherstone raised players? FN: want passion who wear blue n white. Constantly looking for such players, Featherstone had agreed terms with Carvell, dialogue continued, but in best interests for carvell and club for him to go to cas this season, RFL targeted Featherstone and asked for salary cap figs. Submitted and decided to hold back from Carvell deal for this season.
Made a very big offer for Leon Pryce to Catalans for him to lead the charge for next season, 2 more players also signed for next season but who will have to remain confidential for now
Media blackout was requested as there was a change in control behind the scenes, wanted to be left to get on with the changes
FN: club strategy is to get into SL first, investing in centre of excellence second, but still keen on signing on scholarship players and developing youth
What size crowds would Fev need to get in SL and sustain? FN: going in SL will make life easier. Finances in game have changed, With the £1.8m and astute business acumen behind scenes there is no worry about Fev making it in SL.
FN wanted sean long to stay at the club this year and offered to put in a 6 figure sum if he did
Report from RFL on salary cap has been glowing, Featherstone actually has cut the wage bill
DR was used as a loophole to get round salary cap, to cover injuries. Chris Annakin will be back at club after his ban, negotiating signing
****** WOW ***** Jarrod Sammut will be coming across on dual reg, hoping that he will play this weekend ...subject to phone calls to wakefield to check
Exact changes behind scenes? FN: Mark Campbell still chair but no longer has overall control. New directors come on board.
FN: John Bastian had lost the dressing room , club felt decision was right. Felt needed there was to be fundamental changes
Unity not quite there yet at the club, they should be winning those last 2 games, morale is improving tho, Players been thro a lot over last few weeks as contracts have been negotiated
Nahaboo asked how big a setback it would be if Fev don't finish top two. His answer: "We will finish in the top two"
is Gareth Moore staying: FN Moore and Flanagan are staying til 2015
Nahaboo also says Fev are going full-time from next year, most players on FT, apart from those who have other job that they wanted to retain, these players will not be PT players working PT for Foundation. 1 will be doing community work, First time in club's history that they will have Full Time players
AH: felt we had best week of prep last week, didn't get result on field,we looked way in front of team we were playing but didn't get result, players aware if they play well, and they have the shirt and they will keep the shirt, couple of players yest didn't play well so possible changes
FN: see AH as the man to lead the charge next season, even if don't make it into SL...will be given another go, Massive vote of confidence from the Board in AH
Building relationships with Huddersfield, Wakefield, and Hull currently
FN: in summary Featherstone Rovers as a club is in a very good place, Campbell, readshaw and Lumb remain on the board of 7 directors, Media ban is lifted
I can smell more bull than driving past Odsal!

| Given the current changeable status of the game AND the unchartered territory we are all now heading in some clubs seen to be taking awfully big risks. I know - a period of quiet reflection and a "wait and see" policy can be equally damaging but some clubs are peddling like billyo to get to the top of the hill only to discover (perhaps) that there's an even bigger hill after that and they've almost crippled themselves with shin splints. Some will have the confidence that they can match the challenge financially while some will be completely winging it. Personally I haven't a clue how the new structure is going to pan out and if it was my money I wouldn't be shelling it like peas right now. I hope that sooner rather than later Championship clubs CAN kick the doors of SL off it's hinges; it will make for a much better game.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

I've been discussing the future on the Bulls site, what a bunch of soft self pitying dips they are, moaning because they are going to be on the wrong side of the promotion equation, I sincerely hope they get mullered by most of the Championship, a fate more likely as it seems they are considering putting Jimmy Lowes in charge

| Surely Bradford will have an immediate financial advantage with parachute money AND (possibly) the biggest attendances in the championships. They must be red hot favourites to go back up? There again, as I said earlier, it's unchartered territory. They'll have to overhaul a current SL club which will have been playing in a supposedly tougher than ever competition. I'm excited at what next year will bring; if not from my own club's point of view then from the gantry of also rans looking down at the gladiatorial bloodbath that is the "middle eight".

I think the Bulls are best positioned to head the championship, with parachute payment, etc. However in order to get back in Superleague they have to be better than the top 4 of the championship and the bottom team in Superleague, which is a tall order unless they strengthen substantially.

| I'm not sure how the new structure will affect those coming down this season. Teams like Halifax, Fev and Leigh know the Championship market are already securing the services of the leagues stand out players. Will Bradford/London etc. be able to afford their current squad or will they be looking to recruit from the Championship?
If the answer to the first question is yes, is their current squad good enough to compete with Leigh, Fev and ourselves?
If they will look to recruit from the Championship to reduce their wage bill, all the top players will have been snapped up. Bradford for Championship 1 in 2016......yes please

The bulls will be fine. They will be better funded next year (reduced sky money this season ) and will probably have the largest crowd figures, which should ensure they have the best squad in the championship.
I have read, on the bulls forum that the overseas quota for championship next season will be increased?

That wont effect us. KH doesn't like overseas players.
