| I believe that if you do it through the club, some of the cost will find it's way into Halifax' coffers.
There is a meeting this afternoon in Brighouse about the RFL's plans for the Championship and the above has been announced.
The coverage sounds like match wise it will be similar to Sky's but with a better build up and editorial focus.

Which will absolutly cripple Championship 1, and to be honest wont do the championship any good either.
Thursday nights are just ridiculous, Clubs needfans to travel to get their fix, not just to get a few tins and stay in.
Were fans invited to the meeting or was it just club officials ?.

| The clubs also won't receive a penny from the TV deal. Great deal brokered by the RFL that.

Apparently clubs may get something through getting commission on subscription they sell.

| In favour of this or not, there's no chance of subscribing if you are on Virgin Media

| It's up their site if go here rlhttps://www.premiersports.tv/rl and click on 'Rugby' on the left hand side. The only other day they could put it on is a Sunday because they won't want it up against Super League. But with a lot of people at matches on a Sunday I can't see that happening either.

AAAAArgh, just when I thought I would be able to get some RL fix next season with no SKY and not even any SL, I find out its not on Virgin Media which is what I am on.
Is there no way it will be at all?

Still waiting for an answer to my email of today to Virgin Media. Expecting roughly same reply as last month and the month before:- "Thank you for your e-mail dated 3 September 2011 with regards to the availability of Premier Sports. Unfortunately we don't have plans to introduce this channel just yet......."
Premier Sports TV have requested that customers contact Virgin directly asking for Premier Sports to be made available on their platform.
If I get a positive response, I will post it on here.

| It's ironic that Sky Sports are dumping Championship Rugby, but the only way to get it from Premier TV is to subscribe via the Sky platform Barstewards.
Our sponsors must be pretty hacked off - how many times were we on Sky last year? That's all gone now. I remember seeing some BARB figures showing over 150,000 viewers for Championship Thursdays. Well done RFL, well done. Immense.

I'm confused now as the 2 statements seem to contradict each other. I currently have Sky and Sky Sports. I have wanted to dump them for years but, up to now, it has been the only way to get my RL fix (apart from going to games of course). If I now dump Sky in it's entirety will I be able to subscribe to and receive Premier Sports or not?
