Been informed today that both Goddard and Beswicks season is over,this will be a massive loss to Fax.Two players who have been outstanding over the past 6-8 weeks and will be surely missed.Goddards been in great form and showing his true potential whilst Beswick has been outstanding and so consistent through out the season,he has also been in the last two months dream team at hooker.Goddards ankle ligaments and Beswick has broken his ankle,after watching the game back today,both injuries were sustained quite freakish with no other player around them at the time.

I would like to wish the lads a speedy recovery and i am sure i am not on my own.

There is no doubt we are going to miss them and i wish them a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing them in the blue and white again next season.

they deserve that day out in Warrington, now the lads that step in and the whole team and win the grand final for them.

You wouldn't want to be a hooker at Fax these days, must be a dangerous job.
I think the guys have really done well considering we've had so many long term injuries this season.
We'll be lucky to put 9 out at Headingley next week.

Think we have had our unfair share of season ending injuries this year..

Surely you wouldn't put Miles in now at this late stage of the season, He hasn't played all year and to put him in at this stage would surely be too much pressure, he will be rusty and need some game time before throwing him back into the squad, IMO

Although it's a risk , what the injuries mean , it does open the door for miles greenwood to feature again. If he plays in the match on Saturday or the 9s , then he's very much back in the coaches' plans especially if worrincy is still not fit.

Put Miles in for Toulouse and for the 9s and he should be well on the way for the Fev game.

Goddard seems to have rotten luck for Fax, he had a great start to his Fax career, dominating Israel Folau down the Shay but has always had injuries which has hampered his progress. He was argubly having his best spell in a Fax shirt and he gets injured once again. Didn't he narrowly miss the GF last year as well?

Beswick is a massive loss. He never gets the credit he deserves and it will be a case of people only noticing him when he is missing. He tackles his blood to water and brings the play forward out of dummy half brilliantly.
