I am positive the other night I read a couple of Tweets from @ReactivMedia, Tony Abbott's firm, saying that they were excited to be the New Sponsors of Halifax RLFC, these I think had been re-tweeted, so I can't of been the only person to see them

(I appreciate that will mean very little to some people with the twitter terms, in a nutshell A "Tweet" is a Short message posted by a User, a "Re-Tweet" Means another User has then published it to their profile for their followers to see)

Anyway after there'd been no announcement from the club, I thought I'd have a look back and the tweets have disappeared.

Anyone else notice these? or have I been dreaming again?

I would hope its not reactive media, for the simple reason of too many eggs in one basket, i would have hoped we would have been able to attract other sponsors from outside the directors own group of companies. Leigh and arthur thomas spring to mind, i know its different as he bank rolled them, still i think we need to cover every angle in these difficult times.

It was hot gossip at friday's game, but my source told me they wanted it keeping shush for a while yet.

Ever heard of the phrase beggars can't be choosers

from reading the business pages reactiv media are growing fast with lots of arms to their business and getting a very high profile. so would be good to have them as sponsors.

I'm sure the wording was "they have found Halifax's 2012 Sponsors" rather than say they WERE Halifax's 2012 sponsors.

We have not managed to spend to the cap. Nowhere near it. If you read the Courier articles properly you will see that it says we have now spent the money in our budget.

I was told last week that they are indeed the clubs new sponsors.

Fair enough. Maybe view were just trying to be cute about it. All tweets being taken down suggests it probably is them.

They're certainly a company on the up by all accounts so don't think it's bad to be riding the wave of success with them.

Some folk will find anything to complain about..........

A successful and growing local business managed by someone who is passionate about Fax.................Why would we want that?

Imagine a Des Johnson knocking on our door and flashing his cash. Sheeeeeesh!
